This gate is everything I was looking for! I got the wider version to block off a large doorway between the living room and kitchen, and it fits perfectly. The pressure mount design made installation quick and tool-free — no damage to my walls. The auto-close feature is a huge plus when my hands are full, and it gives me peace of mind knowing the gate locks securely every time. It’s very sturdy, even with toddlers pulling on it and my dog occasionally jumping against it. It also looks great — clean and modern — and blends in nicely with my home décor. I recently purchased this baby gate and overall, I’m quite happy with it. The installation was a breeze—definitely one of the easiest I’ve ever done. It came with instructions containing and the process was straightforward, but I did find that the extenders need to be applied the right side up for everything to line up properly, so just be mindful of that! While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the quality feels solid, and it does its job well. The price is a bit steep for such a simple design, so I took away one star. So far, it’s been sturdy and reliable. I have only had it a few days, though. Overall, a great purchase if you’re looking for something easy to install and effective. I cannot speak to how this gate would hold up against large animals, but it is sturdy enough to withstand small child strength.

My husband and I spent a good chunk of time searching for an extra wide baby gate that didn’t require screwing anything into the walls. We were hesitant to purchase this one because the price was high for something we weren’t sure we’d have any luck with. We decided to purchase it anyways after reading the reviews. The gate arrived with absolutely no instructions. It was simple enough to put together but when I spend this kind of money on a product I expect somewhat decent packaging and instruction. This gate is NOT sturdy. If I tighten it all the way it becomes impossible to open, any looser and it swings open effortlessly. I have a 1.5 year old and a 2.5 year old and they can open the gate very easily. We have to tie the gate shut and climb over it every time. If my children apply any force the gate completely separates itself from the wall. The joints bent within a week of use.
