Bravo for Bravia!
I really like this Sony tv. It’s simple to set up and weighs only 35 pounds. Compared to my original Sony Bravia 40 inch LCD which weighs 60 pounds. I mounted it on the wall which wasn’t difficult at all. The remote is easy to use and there are a load of apps available and they all work great. The TV set up was all done on screen automatically by following the visual prompts. And there is a paper copy set up and operation manual also available. The picture quality is excellent. The 4k HDR images are remarkable. And the price is very reasonable, considering that my original Bravia from 11 years ago cost 3 times what I paid for this one, and had less bells and whistles. I highly recommend this Bravia for someone who wants excellent quality but has a tight budget.

It only lasted 1 year and 8 months?
The TV was amazing. PS5 ran great on it too. Apparently the LCD/LED went out in 1 year and 8 months flat. So disappointing since we even have older models from different manufacturers that lasted even longer then this. Our first first one still works from Vizio. It's just crazy in my opinion that a revered company like Sony would just make a product that would fail in such little time.

worst remote & support ever, no USB, wont run HDMI ARC speakers
This TV HAS NO USB PORT. The remote needs to be opened with a decorator blade tool - really, that is the top solution - by prying it into the slim crack on each side, one then another, until it finally opens. How lame is that, for a 2020 model 4K Smart TV????????? I think integrity and forethought are things of the past but I cannot say why on this forum. I have not been able to open said remote, which means no resetting it to correct a probable malfunction. we also cannot detect the remote model number if we cannot open it because they decided to put the remote model number inside the practically hermetically-sealed remote case. Even spell check is too high these days. The remote has not "set" button, so I have to go buy a Universal remote to run other devices (said buyer support through Amazon, who talked to the seller). The PCM A/V adjustment for speakers to work is not anywhere in the settings - the TV has remarkably few settings to even look at. There are literally no remote instructions on Sony website for this remote, RMF-TX500U OEM. All the "help" available by pressing remote help key is basic, i.e. how to power on a DVD player and insert a disc. The voice-assistant mostly takes me to You Tube for my queries, and anything about the remote says to first press home then press settings - that gives me an onscreen error that settings cannot be accessed form the home screen. I have to use the arrows to go up up up up and over over over to finally open the settings. Again, not much there to tinker with. The Amazon support guy was going to give me a small credit for the inconveniences, but as we discussed the issue of incompatible speakers, and no USB, said I better think about a return to replace it with "a more modern" TV - HIS WORDS.
