OTTERBOX DEFENDER SERIES Case and Holster for Samsung Galaxy S4 - Carrier Packaging - Realtree Camo - Black

2nd one I've bought. Just got a new S4, (also my 2nd - best phone evar) and after a year and a half my OtterBox's screen was so scuffed and scratched I couldn't really see outdoors with it. This is not OtterBox's fault in my view - the case kept my phone in pristine condition after thousands of tumbles and crashes on concrete. Even fell out of my pocket mountain biking and tumbled down a rocky hill - phone never knew anything happened. The screen protector took a beating and after a year and a half was showing its use. The rest of the case was good as new.The belt clip was something I swore I'd never do, but it's really handy actually. I clip it around more to my backside so I don't look like one of those business guys in dockers and a tucked in baby blue shirt. The silicon on the case makes it very easy to grip your phone but makes it hard to slip into a pocket, not to mention the size of your phone with this case. The clip is also a kickstand - something I also thought was a dumb idea until I realized how handy it was while charging the phone. I use it every day at work.So, while it's big, it is bomb proof. My 9mo son hucks my phone and chews on it daily. I drop it several times a day on concrete floors. I even left it out in rain one time - this thing has enough weatherproofing it made it just fine! I wouldn't submerge it, but I'm still impressed. Inside this case your phone will stay in mint condition, no shattered screens and no android slow-downs due to shocks.

After several mediocre cases for my s4..it is nice to finally carry my phone in a case worthy of it, high build quality, with quality materials.* traction materials placed where needed to secure phone in hand, but not catch pant material when placed in pocket*case shield does not inhibit finger slide for swype for keyboard apps* added screen glare with protective cover is minimal*protection covers for 3.5 Jack, and charging port are nothing short of the best quality fit/material I've seen*carry clip incorporates tv/reading stand with multiple angled positions by changing the rotation of clip holder...and the most robust clip lick feature(lock hooks clip open to make mini strand)..I felt the need to test its durability by opening /releasing the click 20 - 30 times..high quality..will not break unless abused(my opinion)*my wife's hands are too small to scroll the s4 screen with 1 hand..with phone in tv stand position with clip open, my wife slips her finger between stand and phone..relaxed but completely secure allowing her to stretch her fingers to reach farthest screen location without losing phone from her handAll around fantastic case..would buy another in a second if needed.

I bought this Camouflage Otter Box for my husband for his new Samsung Galaxy S4 phone. He had several other Otter Box's for a different phone, and somehow he's managed to break 3 of these previously, I'm sure hoping that this one last a little longer. The clips have always broken off after getting hung up on seat belts, getting in and out of his work vehicles. He actually emailed Customer Service once, and they sent a new clip free of charge. I decided to get the Real Tree Camouflage Otter Box for him being a avid hunter So far so good, no accidents, broken clips, so far. I am happy with my purchase and he was also, not to mention that the cost was a lot cheaper on Amazon than anywhere locally. Most places cater to all things that are part of the Apple products.These really are good products and protect your phone from pretty much everything with the exception of water. I would definitely recommend this product to others it's well worth the money.

I got this when it was $32 I believe. I wanted an Otterbox but didnt want to spend alot. This one isnt water proof like the original otterbox but its a nice enough sturdy case. I agree with some of the other reviews saying smart scroll doesnt work with the case. Sometimes when I have my phone In the bathroom steam will cause moister under the screen protector so make sure to open it and wipe it down if that happens. This case is nice for the money

Selected this Otter Box because I needed a case that was heavy duty enough for my work environment but I also wanted something that looked cool and was a bit different from other similar products. Easy to fit to your phone and can operate the phone easily through the protective cover - just make sure your phone screen is clean, free of dust and any moisture including condensation before fitting the case. Sockets for charger and headphones are easy to access and well protected when not in use. Buttons are a bit stiffer to operate but not a major issue for me. I find that I have to be a bit more deliberate when accessing some touch screen functions through the protective cover down the right hand side of the screen (eg when using the keyboard) as some keys are quite close to the edge of the cover. However, I have quite large hands and it may not be an issue for someone with finer fingers. It does make the phone chunkier and a bit heavier, but for me it's a minor issue as protection of my phone in a fairly harsh environment is the most important consideration.
