Good item and quick delivery

Bought to connect 100C LiPo battery to my spot welder, these provide a secure connection using 8AWG cables and have the current carrying capacity I need. They are a bit tricky to solder as they need a lot of heat (applied quickly) to complete the connection. That much brass and copper is a big heatsink. Don't try with anything less than a 75w iron (just my advice) because you need the joint to heat quickly without damaging the plastic housing - which you will do if you spend too much time on the job with an under-powered iron. I used a TS100 iron running on 24V. Tin the pins and cable ends separately, then bring the two together to mate them into a sound joint with the iron.

These are really good with bigger batteries as they contain anti spark units built in, so no worries and cheaper than an arming unit to stop flashing on connection.

Good quality no more sparks

First time I've used these and what a difference they make! I have a hyper 8s speed runner with a tp power motor xlx2 ESC running on 8s and the spark everytime I plugged it in used to blow tiny chunks off the connectors. After my last run one of the connectors was pretty much welded together so I had to change them. These do not spark at all! Absolutely nothing! I only recommend these if you are using 8s or more with big power, I have xt90's on all my stuff but I only found sparking an issue on 8s stuff. 6s gives a littl crack but not enough to warrant spending extra on connectors. So I'm very happy 👍🏻
