Update: They replaced Flash GUI with HTML5 and their Support is Awesome!
Review Update: So I misjudged this camera and the company that made it, ADATA. When I first started with NDI PTZ cameras like the x20, I admit that I was still fresh to some of the concepts of network streaming devices and they have released an updated GUI that's based on HTML5. I regret leaving my last bad review, once I put in the effort of upgrading the firmware I now have the camera that made me feel like I got what I paid for. I'm glad I called them and I'll be a returning customer! Here's the thing for those on the fence: It turns out this company is not only American based but their tech support is as well! When I called the number listed on their website, I got a quick simple menu, a couple of rings and a REAL PERSON who clearly lived in California (that Cali accent!) repeatedly answered my multiple calls for help, and I never felt once like they weren't going get my problem solved. And what's worse is that, as an IT guy, the actual fix for getting the latest HTML5 version of the web GUI installed was fairly straightforward:If the camera you've bought has firmware v844 installed on it you need to retrieve the camera physically, toggle dip switches 1+2 to the off position, plug in their provided "DB9 mini" cable into a trusted USB->Serial adapter, then follow the PDF instructions for how to push the v904 updates. After you've installed the 904 update you won't be asked to take the camera down again, the future updates are all done from the webgui. Also note that Linux users or Mac user's can't update the firmware for some reason (I'm guessing UTF-8 encoding?) but if you just use a Windows Virtual Machine like I did it'll work fine.I wasn't paid for my review, the support I got was worth something to me and I felt they earned this review. The fact that the dude on the phone didn't even bother asking for serial numbers or purchase dates when I asked for help meant a lot to me as it was clear he was more worried about providing support than nit-picking warranty periods.

AIDA's customer support is AMAZING!
My experience with their product and support team has nonetheless made me write this review, seeing that someone wasn't very nice on the camera. This was around a month ago.Starting off, my review is solely based on an install company that sold us this brand camera. Being a small church during COVID times made us want to stream our services as people aren't allowed in the sanctuary anymore. We got a quote from an amazing company that was recommended by one of my colleagues. When given the quote, we were up in the air about PTZ Optics and AIDA Imaging. Having my questions, I reached out to both AIDA and PTZ Optics for more information on the cameras. Insane enough, AIDA Imaging got back INSTANTLY after the email. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes in my inquiry. I continued a back and forth and felt confident about their product. PTZ Optics eventually got back to me at the end of the day (precisely 3 hours after my initial email) and they gave me a great rundown on the product. After speaking about it to our team, we decided to give a quick call to AIDA and see if they had anything else to offer. After a couple dial tones, a support agent by the name of Jack had answered. He was kind, polite and very informative about the product. He gave us an honest rundown of the PTZ, and gave us more confidence in picking their product. We gave PTZ Optics a call, but no ring. Bummer. In the end we went with AIDA Imaging. The install company took about a week to get the camera from their source, and the following day after delivery they began installing. As they were installing, all it took was 1 measly ethernet cable and a power over ethernet + router to power the camera and get video. The install went sooooo smooth, and they taught us everything we need to know on how to stream and how to use the camera. The quality of the camera surpassed my expectations! Everything was going smooth for about a week, but then we had a problem where we couldn't log into the camera IP anymore. This was bad because we had service over the weekend and our installers weren't available. We gave AIDA support a call again and Jack again was on the line! He had remote logged in from his computer and solved our problem immediately with a few changes! We we're nonetheless ecstatic at how fast he worked and diligently he worked. Since then, our camera has been running great for the past 2 weeks, and couldn't be any happier!Jack, if you are reading this thank you so much for the help! You have yourself a loyal AIDA customer!
