I bought this unit to replace an existing LED flood light that has stopped working (no illumination).This lamp is made in China but sourced by a Welsh company in Mid Glamorgan (print on back)The build quality is great, I ran the unit indoors for about 30 minutes and the back was warm but not red hot, you could feel the heat from the front as the LEDS are exceptionally bright though the glass stayed warm to the touch.The power cable is just a little under 1.5 Meters and made from UV Resistant Rubber Flexible Cable type 60245 IEC 57 (YZW) as used on many appliances that require heat resistant, flexible cable. It is weather proof as expected but caution should be taken not to snag or trap the wire as this could damage it. If you are fitting this unit yourself you must ensure you use either a suitable rubber plug in an outdoor weather proof socket or wire into a weatherproof connector, how you do this is up to you. I use an inline connector between outdoor twin and earth to the lamp from a fused switch inside the house ( I dont want motion detection, I want a lamp thats on all the time its powered up, which this unit is of that type). Cable entry is from the bottom of the unit via a metal, sealed grommet. Always try to create a U shape in your cable so water is deterred from running back towards the cable entry point and you should be good for several years.I'm impressed with the more than capable screws and rawl plugs, they seem a little overkill for the light weight of this product. They are about 2 inches in length.Product dimensions are W6.25 inches X H4.75 inches X D about 1 inchTechnicals -V @ 252 (time of testing) 49.9HzA - 0.13 (130mA)W (Active, or Real Power) - 28 watts (what your meter reads) : VA (Apparent Power) - 34 watts (what the national grid sees)Power Factor 0.82 (not bad, 1.0 being perfect which you only get from resistive loads)There are 38 LEDS with 2 chips in each LED making 76 total all in series.Great looking lamp, with a great feel and sturdiness to it. I hope this one lasts more than a year this time!

I needed a light to light up lower part of my garden , loads out there to choose from , but I have had Lofter products before and have always been impressed with the quality of the items and the value for money !. Ordered this and it came a couple of days later , well packaged and with clear specification on the box. Opening the box , you get a small instruction pamphlet (well all you need to do is wire it up anyhow) and three decent screws with rawplugs.The light itself feels exceedingly well made and has quality materials , full aluminium body , what looks like stainless bolts on the side and a nice mounting bracket., has a decent gland where the wire goes in , and 1.5m of lead with pre-cut ends for wiring up. Quite a light ( light , see what I done there! ) unit and very slim and nice looking bit of kit. I was mounting this to the side of my workshop (see pics) so did not need supplied screws etc , so I can use them for something else as they are good quality too. I mounted the bracket straight into the wood and drilled a hole for the wire to go through , (I connected my light to a smart socket so I can turn it off and on with my alexa) , but you can connect it straight to a plug or a switch or whatever set up you want.Once fitted due to its low profile it is really unobtrusive and blends in nicely (see pics)I had to wait until dark to see what it was like and you can see from my pics the difference with the light off and when it is on !! Am so pleased at how it has transformed that part of the garden now , with a really nice bright light and I'm only using 30 Watts of power to do that !! Even the wife was really impressed and wants me to get some more now for the other areas of our house/garden !Buy one you wont regret it !
