Perfect Planner for First Time Homeschool Mama
For my new homeschool mamas looking for an inexpensive planner, I am really loving this one. Not only is this planner cute, but it works great for this full-time workin' mama. It allows me to stay on track with weekly lesson planning sections. I love the student (room for 6 kids) and master schedules (to notate weekly routines). I am able to track attendance, books, grades, field trips, important dates, organizations, and website logins. it is fully lined, which my perfectionist heart appreciates. There are plenty of spaces to jot down notes throughout. I love the weekly section (7 days a week / 7 subjects) for lesson planning. I love the roomy monthly planners. This planner arrives with "perfect binding." I took it to a local print shop to have it coil bound, which makes my heart sing! I love that I can now lay it flat for my weekly planning sessions. I have learned the hard way to only write in pencil, which allows us flexibility to change, add, remove things on a whim.Likes:- Inexpensive cost- Cute, modern design- Large size, 8.5x11- Lightweight- Made for homeschool families with 1-6 kids- Areas for weekly lesson planning, monthly planning, master schedules, attendance, field trips, books, grades, website logins, etc- Starts in July and ends in June- Days of the week are at the top panel of the weekly schedule. Subjects are along the left column. This is a HUGE personal preference of mine. I ditched my old planner because it was not setup like this, and it bugged me.Dislikes:- Perfect binding, I just prefer coil/spiral binding for the lay flat planning. If you're like me play the extra $3 and have a local shop rebind it for you- Cover is not very thick and may tear easily. I tore mine a little the first week I had it. It just got snagged on something. It's minor, but the cover is very lightweight and may crease, tear or bend easily. It is not a deal breaker for me. I will love this planner till it is in shreds.- Holidays are marked, but they are very light gray, so kind of hard to read. Also, NOT a deal breaker. I rewrite holidays myself anyway :)Overall very happy with this planner and will be buying another one next year from this publisher.

CHECK THE DATES before you buy
I'm a little upset that they didn't send me the year that I wanted. Who orders a planner for July 2020-June 2021 in May? No one. So not sure why they didn't send me the proper year... That issue aside, I love this planner. Lots of space for writing. Love that it includes weekends. Love the extra pages at the beginning for writing down other information like field trips, reading list, attendance, curriculum resources etc. I REALLY wish they made this exact journal but undated. As homeschoolers we have that freedom to start and stop whenever we feel like it, so it would be nice if the planner accomodated that. Honestly I expect a lot from planners, and this one is almost perfect. I'm just mad they genuinely thought I was buying the planner to use for only a month and a half. Waste of my money. I should have returned it but I desperately needed to start keeping track of all my kids' work.

Cute & Simple
The front cover design is cute.It has two coloring pages, one in the front and another in the back. Pages included are: Goals sheet, homeschool requirements, student info, several different calendars, important dates page, student and master schedule pages, grade and attendance trackers, reading log, event pages and several notes pages, contact list and organization contacts, website logins and notes, as well as the regular planner. It’s easy enough to fill in and keep track of things. Easy enough for a beginner or expert at homeschooling. Black and white pages, I’m fine with that.I didn’t want it dated, but it is. Ya can’t choose em all ... I don’t like how it’s not a hard cover or binder type book. Simply because I’m rough on books and so are my kids. I’d definitely pay the extra for a hard cover and binder type planner like this! The price isn’t bad! And overall I’d definitely buy again.

Everything I needed for Homeschooling Tracking/Organizing
I looked at planners for weeks until finally deciding on this one and I am so happy I did. It has everything that I need to homeschool my son. It has important areas that I utilize weekly. I needed something that did it all and this was it for me. I added tabs, as this does not come with them.

Disappointed at cover appearance sticker that can’t be removed.
While the product itself is between a 4-5 Stars and inside pages were exactly as I expected I’m disappointed by the cover, which is why I’m rating this a 3. I understand that some packages have basic wear and tear that will occur during transit, I was disappointed to find a large sticker ( from another package) stuck to my cover. I checked the inside of the package thinking there was a possibility the item may have gotten wet during shipment causing it to stick to the package itself but the inside of the envelope is protected with bubble wrap and nothing was moist. There were also no tears from the package itself. This leads me to think that the item was knowingly placed in the package this way. The person who packed this had to have seen the cover look this way. It’s possible the book may have been stuck to something else prior to packing. While the cover doesn’t change the functionality of the item and I will get use out of it like intended, It bothers me that who ever packed this possibly saw this and sent it anyway.
