I had just moved and my new office had a lot of bounce that my former did not. To reduce that, i bought this screen. It took awhile to properly place it, but, along with a pop filter, it works perfectly. Bought another one for my spouse.

This is working great for us to record our podcast on the go. Folds up and fits right in our backpack with all of our other supplies. Helps to produce great quality sound!

Good value

Comes pre-assembled with an optional attachment for those needing a thicker connection to their mic. A very professional product with solid construction that does what it says. I purchased it because I wanted one that works with the largest-size Blue Yeti microphone on a shock mount. This one is perfect. I use it close to a room corner and it prevents any reverb from the corner from reaching the microphone. It definitely helps capture a clean recording which is what you need for your recording to blend into a mix rather than sit on top of the mix due to a less-than-clean recording. In other words, any echo, reverb, noise, etc. caught in a recording makes it stand out in a bad way from the rest of a mix. You want to add reverb, distortion, or any other effects after its recorded - not capture them during recording. This isolation shield helps, is well thought out, and professionally executed.

This portable sound booth is nice and functional great for small studios who don't have room for a sound booth

For what is does it works beautifully.Because of the design I can keep the mic deep and extend the sides to keep ambient sound out which is a weakness with other shallow shields. May buy two more small shields to extend the sides even more to allow a larger tablet to read off.Read for an audition off my iPhone which worked beautifully as it contained the voice near the mic and INSIDE the booth. Am setting up a large home booth and like this so much will experiment with it INSIDE that booth to control street noises in the summer.Did get a call back on the voice audition and was pleasantly surprised how well the large baffle worked. Next time will try it with a down ski jacket over the top and behind.My guess is that will add 25- 30% more sound baffling - as long as the mic and the voice Is contained INSIDE the baffle.

This product seems well made. The issue I have is that my Shure MV7+ mic doesn't fit it properly. The back of the mic sits flush against the foam screen, leaving no room to input the cords. I spent forever trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong, but I think it just requires an upright microphone rather than one that sits at an angle. I suppose I could use it without mounting the mic, but you don't get the same level of noise isolation.

Plus, unless you spend the big bucks, don't waste time searching for Wall panels for vocal recording of any kind.*I love that all parts of the back wall of this product can be specifically adjusted to your wanting & even easily tightened at each top notch by using the included small allen wrench!*To top it off, what makes this product even more versatile, is that you can either mount it on a mic stand, adjusted to your height or just set it on a table if you want great voice sound quality for Podcasting, Speaking, or singing. The bottom of this product has pieces that make it even & it doesn't move easy on a table, so you won't have to worry about avoiding am accidental touch with your hands or face while recording your voice.I HIGHLY recommend this product for those who seek HIGH QUALITY recordings of your voice, with no outside noise being present.
