I am giving this 5 stars because its exactly what I expected. Yes, there are only 2 settings for the ringer and the "on" setting is extremely loud and then there is off. Also, it has a tiny little bit of static but overall, its loud and I can hear clear enough. It is a phone that is basically from the 90's so if people have issue with the static or settings... I don't really know what else you would expect. It is not a modern phone. It functions at a basic level, but functions well and is in good condition. It is used as a home phone in case of emergencies in case cell does not work.

Bought these phones because I was tired of purchasing cordless systems every year or two that would stop charging. They work just fine, no complaints there, but they are absolutely weightless, hollow. The one I had when I was younger had some heft to it. This doesn't even stay on the bedstand when I pick up the receiver, it moves whenever you move the cord. Might not be a problem if it were screwed onto a wall, but a pain in the butt when lying on a flat surface. My daughter actually taped her down her desk. Ridiculous.

Couldn't believe it!!! My husband was a real doubtner, but I thought "maybe, just maybe" Amazon will have the item. It's a phone which had a design that probably origainatede 20 years ago. Brand new phone. Perfect condition and perfect fit in the kitchen for the home we just purchased.Very pleased.

I used this as a prop in my classroom so I don’t know if it actually works but it was fun in the classroom and the kids loved it.

I set it up in the bathroom. Very convenientno more long run to kitchen n pick up phone.

Cheap “made in China”.

Pretty much "as advertised." Low price. VERY lightweight. The showstopper for me was the extremely loud ringer that can only be turned ON or OFF (no middle ground).

I still use landline phones and my old ones are slowly wearing out so I ordered 2 of these phones. They are okay and do the job. They do have a unusual ring and are very light weight. Do not feel as solid as my old phones but so far are working okay.
