Drill America DWDCO30P12 #30 Cobalt Drill Bit (Pack of 12), DWDCO Series

Bought as a replacement for some cheap bits that came with a jig , these bits literally cut through steel with ease, I Def will be using this brand for my go to when I need single bits

Drilled out multiple holes on 3/16 steel. Use these to drill out pilot holes before going any bigger. These cobalt drills last a lot longer than the HSS, and are not that much more money. Are a great value for the longevity. These drilled out clean holes for me using a drill press on low speed, and also did so quickly. Will buy again, if I ever need to. Expect the 12 to last me a long long time.

After knocked the factory front sight off and placed the xs front sight on the sight slot, wrap the sight with tape. This drill bit is the hero on the next process. Attrached it on hand electric drill and drill throu the left and the right of the sight. No damage or bent to this small drill bit. Very hight quality.

Sharp out of the box, good value for the cost. Bought these and another size for a trailer redecking project. As with most bit, when your drilling through steel with old self tapping decking screws, your going to break bits. That’s why buying a box makes sense, and these did the job, going through half a box on a 20ft trailer.

I needed to buy these drill bits,to drill into deer antlers. They did the job well, and came back for some more. Shipping was within the dates they said they would be here.

This was a smoking deal on very sharp cobalt drill bits. Get a taper reamer. And I realized you need to press the pins in with a press. Hammering just never works for me.
