Fukitor Paperback – November 7, 2017

The book itself is amazing - I love Jason's comics. I purchased this *new* but what I got is very used. It also has a sticker on the back cover (see pictures). I could have purchased this from a different seller but I have had good experiences with Amazon Prime - until now. Not only is this book heavily used but the packaging was very poor. It was packed with another book without anything to separate them. They were both loose inside the heavily damaged flat bubble-wrap package.Some info on the book:This is a highlight compilation of Fukitor issues 1-9. I do not own the individual comics but this seems to have the complete stories. The quality is quite good. Even though my book is quite used it still seems to be durable. It's a soft covered book but the covers are thick. The pages inside are thicker than a basic comic and the print is good; the print seems to be scans from the original comics - which Jason self produces. I really enjoy the art and writing style, it's exactly what I was expecting - nudity, gore, and vulgarity.I highly recommend this if you enjoy any form of entertainment that's obscene, insane, and vulgar.*I originally put this as a 2/5 star rating because of the damage from use or shipping. This is definitely a 5/5 book for me and highly recommend it to fans of his work.

If you're ordering this and have no idea what it is, well that was kind of dumb. If you really have so much money to throw around that you're buying random things online without the slightest thought, maybe donate that instead, or better yet buy me something! Fukitor is a loving homage to an era of comics that I miss dearly where it was truly an art form. Hand crafted by one or two folks alone, with stories and art that would never make it from a soul-less and ball-less major publisher. Comics like this are the hidden gems I would search out in little comic shops all around Texas, spending hours digging through endless boxes to find that one decent title. If this sounds like your kind of thing, check out the site. If you don't run screaming, then grab this ASAP and support actual art.

If you like crazy, off the wall, non-neutered art, You will love this. If your a neo-hippie pansy, don't bother.

I find myself rereading this every year at Halloween time. It is so funny and so wrong and so well drawn and will be so banned someday so get it while you can. I bought my copy from the publisher and they’ve been sold out for awhile sadly.

I really didn't think I was this immature, but I guess it brought back memories of high school and stoner friends. Modernized comix might be the best descriptor. This takes me back and I won't be surprised if I find the author was heavily influenced by those put out in the early 70's. So yes, recommended, and I will be on the lookout for more from Mr. Karns.
