A Very Enjoyable Adventure
(Please note - I am reviewing the Five Kingdoms series as a whole, so I will post the same review for each of the five books; Sky Raiders, Rogue Knight, Crystal Keepers, Death Weavers, and Time Jumpers.)I first heard of Brandon Mull from the editor of my story, Ethan and the Key , who told me that she felt my story would appeal to many of the same readers. So my high-school daughter and I read the whole series together, and we both found all five books to be very enjoyable. This series does a terrific job of hooking you right away; what higher stakes could there be than a group of middle-school trick-or-treaters being kidnapped to a world called the Outskirts and sold into slavery? The overriding question of the series is, will Cole Randolph (the POV character) and all his friends make it back to Mesa Arizona? You are left wondering, right up until the end, how it will all turn out.The characters are very well developed; by the end of the series, you feel like you went to middle-school with them. The only problem I had with the series is that there is a lot of exposition. There are many long passages and even whole chapters, devoted to conversations in which various characters explain to Cole how things work in the Outskirts. If you like learning about how new worlds work, this won’t bother you and may even add to your enjoyment of the stories. However, I get impatient with exposition.Overall, this series of books is a very entertaining adventure. So, if you like stories with fun characters and imaginative new worlds, I highly recommend this series of books.

IT MAY TAKE A MIRACLE TO SAVE HONOR!!!
The first battle to take back the Five Kingdoms is complete. Cole along with his friends and fellow fighters have put and end to the ravager of the Sambria region and restored the magic that had been stolen to its true vessel. But, the battle rages on! The citizens of the Kingdom of Elloweer are being turned into a wave of terror that may engulf everyone. Only through putting a stop to the unstoppable will the Honor be restored. No sophomore jinx here!!! Book two continues to build on the fun and excitement of the SKY RAIDERS, the first book of the Five Kingdoms as Brandon Mull weaves his spell to create another fascinating story full of magic and wonder. Mull's worlds are rich and well put together and his characters are fully fleshed out with hopes and dreams, drives and emotions, that are fully developed and stay true to the players he lets pull you through this journey. Mull has always had his finger on the pulse of creating characters that, while young, can step up to the tasks required of them while experiencing the normal pre-teen/teen angst. Throw those in with adult characters that treat them as individuals rather than annoying youngsters to be ignored, and you have a great mix that drives the adventure onward.Now...on to the 3rd book in the series!!!

Very Enjoyable
I really enjoyed this book and found it to be important to move the series forward and is filled with so much adventure and action. There were some parts in this book that just felt slow but it was necessary to move the story. It was still filled with great action and "hold-your-breath-moments." I just didn't much care for some slow parts but overall it was a great book. I would recommend for anyone who liked the first book.

An Amazing Book! Here's My Book Review!
The book, “Five Kingdoms: Rogue Knight, Book 2,” was amazing. It was an action-packed nail-biter! In the first book, a tween named Cole Randolph went into a haunted house on Halloween. Cole and his friends were captured, along with other kids in the neighborhood, and brought to a different world to be sold as slaves. Cole hid, and went in voluntarily to save his friends. He gets captured and sold to the most dangerous place possible. He ends up escaping with one of the princesses of the Five Kingdoms. There is a power called shaping, and the princess was good at it. Her name was Mira. They barely escaped with their friends. Cole and his friends went on all sorts of adventures. The clan even defeated a giant monster named Carnag. In the second book, Cole and his friends were looking for Mira’s sister, Honor. They have to split up several times, and meet new friends in the process. One of the friends is the Rogue Knight. He is one of the most powerful people in the city of Elloweer. He has amazing fighting skills, and shaping skills. A monster named Morgassa is taking over Elloweer. Mira’s father took away her power and all her sisters power. Carnag was created by Mira’s power. Once they find Honor, the group of kids has to look for her power. They have to go through many challenges. Is her power the Rogue Knight? Morgassa? Read the series to find out!

Really good book. Extremely creative.
Brandon Mull did a really good job in creating an imaginative and believable Elloweer Kingdom. The shaping power used in this Kingdom is seemings or illusions, and the way that he incorporates this ability in the story was entertaining. There is a lot of action, and Cole (the POV character) takes part in most of it, further developing his character. He sometimes appears as kind of wimpy, which I find a little annoying, but he is an overall enjoyable character because he is loyal, inquisitive, and thinks quickly in stressful situations. The different characters that you meet in this book are unique and funny. I would recommend this book. I didn't like the first book of this series that much, but I really enjoyed this book, and I will be reading the rest of the series.

Totally gripping
Wow! This is fantastic so fast paced. Cole and his small band are growing. Some nerve jangling bits, some sad, some scary and equally some really happy bits. Oh just read it and you'll find out what I'm saying 😀

Don't give up on your friends.
Stolen from Earth on Halloween, Cole sets out to save his friends who were taken with him. Of course he is captured. New friends, magic, adventure and a clever plot keep you reading to see how he fares. 10 and up would like the story. A world similar yet different to Narnia.
