New Primal Classic Beef Sticks, 100% Grass Fed, Bulk 80 Count

UPDATED REVIEW / JAN. 16, 2026: New Primal customer service reached out to me and advised that they had been working with some co-manufacturers in 2025, in order to catch-up on orders, which was the cause of the change in texture. These issues have since been resolved, as evidenced by the samples that New Primal sent to me. They are just as delicious as before, and I'm so excited that these will, once again, be a staple in my pantry. Thank you, New Primal! ORIGINAL REVIEW / NOV. 17, 2025: I first started ordering these beef sticks back in Aug 2024 and they remained a staple in our home for nearly a year. I LOVED having a good source of quick and tasty protein at my fingertips. However, when I received my Aug 2025 order, it was immediately apparent that something had changed drastically. The color of the meat inside of the tubing is much lighter than it used to be. The flavor is also much more salty than it used to be. The biggest and worst change of all- the meat is now so soft and 'mushy' that it is difficult to even bite through the outer casing. I am so bummed that these are, essentially, inedible for me at this point. I am not sure what, exactly, changed at the New Primal factory, but I'm so disappointed by it!

These are delicious. And a bonus because my kids will eat them! My kids say that most beef sticks are “too spicy”, but not these!

I’ve been buying these for years and most of the time absolutely love them, but I’ve noticed that the quality is different between each order. I imagine it might have to do with where the sticks are placed in the smoker (or oven, or however it’s cooked). Maybe some spots are hotter than other spots so it maybe gets cooked too much or not enough. Or maybe it’s a different cut of meat or fat ratio? Trouble is that when it’s good, it’s REALLY good. But when it’s off, there’s a weird texture where you just endlessly chew and the meat never breaks apart, like a meat-based bubble gum that you chew for a minute and have to spit out. So it’s a bit of a crapshoot, which is a shame.

Delicious, especially as a snack or with a Keto or a protein breakfast. Salty, but if eaten with breakfast no additional salt is necessary..

These are the best meat sticks I have found. Always consistent. Super tasty.

There’s something just off about these beef sticks. The color and consistency is just strange and it leaves in almost soapy after taste. They are vastly different than the ones I purchased in my local health food store. I got them for my kid because she goes gaga over them so I figured I’d buy them in bulk now I’m left with gross beef sticks that no one wants to eat and I’m back to buying them by the stick in the store. I think I’m going to return them because I can’t see myself eating them.

My wife has bought the New Primal Buffalo Style Chicken Sticks for years. I bought the Beef Stick because I prefer beef to chicken, but honestly I wasn't really impressed. The beef sticks are pretty soft and fatty tasting. Maybe I am just too accustomed to the chicken sticks instead. But I have bought beef sticks from other brands and they didn't seem so fatty in comparison. I probably would not buy these again.
