Does what its supposed to do
The beater is very quiet, I doubt there is a quieter beater out there, but it does change the feel of the kick pedal a lot and that takes a bit of getting used to, but if you need a very quiet beater, this is probably it. The sponge on the beater head is very very soft, it's not dense.

I used this once, never again. Poorly made. Seems like it would fall apart within a week. Def don't recommend.
