I like that was made out of silicone, for mold prevention and sanitary purposes. The macaroon baking mat is very flexible and makes removing the macaroon shell with ease. Each shells just sit neatly in their designated spot. NO MESS! The circles and the rings were very helpful in controlling the size of each shell and how much batter to use. I suggest just filling in the middle ring. The macaroon will expand as you let it settle and rise as you bake. I like the idea of reusable piping tools however, I would recommend using disposable piping bags instead. It is much easier to control and dispense. Downside: girlfriend wasn’t a fan of the color brown. The piping bag squeeze thing was a little harder to use then a simple ziploc bag with a corner cut. At the end there was still batter left and it was hard to get out without using a spoon.
