Review: Great Unit for beginners - No real complaints after about 2 months of use. The unit is very light but feels well made, as it should coming from Pioneer. Got to know the basics after a few hours of poking around. It's quite compact which makes it nice for bedroom DJing (pack of gum and my hand for scale in the picture). Jog wheels feel good, albeit not ideal for scratching, but again not bad for something at this price point. Only nuisance I've run into is selecting and changing effects for the filter knobs and the FX button - it's a bit of a process since there's no dedicated FX control knob on the controller itself, which means changing FX is done through the Rekordbox software. All in all, it's a good purchase if you want to decide whether or not you want to stick with DJing or if it'll become a lost hobby. Would recommend!
