Very gripping.
Although I have read a some of your other books I found the beginning quite harsh. This was more due to my own past than your writing. However after restarting I got into it and once again found your writing intense and gripping.Well done lady. Mike S

A poignant and uplifting love story
The foibles and complex personalities of the main protagonists created depth which made the storyline gripping throughout. The unexpected twist and turns made the plot u unpredictable and enthralling. The intense emotional drama ensured that you not bored but captivated to know how they would attain their positive outcome. A heartwarming and sizzling reading experience.

Not one of her better ones
Two years ago Bronwyn's billionaire husband threw her out of their mansion when she told him she was pregnant. Since then she's lived off her savings, a small legacy, and a series of low-paid jobs. She's recovering from a bout of flu when her brother-in-law walks into the restaurant where she is working and starts haranguing her for leaving his brother and ruining his life. Next thing she knows, Bronwyn is lying in a hospital bed recovering from pneumonia and her husband is shouting at her. Apparently after she left their home he chased after her, crashed his car and lost his hearing as a result. Now he has found her again he is using his power and money to insist that she and their child return to live with him as Bronwyn has 'stolen' his child from him.Still desperately in love with her husband, despite his frankly deranged accusations, Bronwyn is too weak to resist, especially when he sometimes treats her so kindly and his kisses are as sweet as ever. Can these two resolve their differences and reconcile?I know this book is seven years old and written at a time when romance readers relished cold-hearted billionaires who are secretly madly in love with their wives but conflicted because of 'stuff' where they have hate sex, but actually Bronwyn's husband Bryce came across as a petulant child, stamping his foot because of what he thinks his wife did. In contrast, Bronwyn was completely wet and pathetic. Not one of her better ones.

Enjoyable read
I absolutely loved the first book in this series "The Unwanted Wife" so was eagerly awaiting this book. I was an enjoyable read but lacked the heart wrenching angst the first book had. Gabe is horrid to his wife Bronwyn when he finds her again after she ran away following his angry rejection of the news that she was pregnant. He takes advantage of her ill health to move her and his daughter back into the family home. He is unjustly angry with his wife and says some really horrible things to her. He will not believe her explanation about what happened after she left. Ultimately the truth comes out and he tries to make amends. I like the fact that the heroine really pulls him up about his behaviour and throws every awful thing he said and did back at him. I do not like romances where the hero is absolutely rotten and then quickly forgiven in 3 pages. Bad behaviour needs serious grovelling and we do get some in this book. I just did not like the heroine that much, she was quite cold at times. I was disappointed that we did not hear more about Sandro and Theresa from book one. Theresa appears but they are not really in it as a couple and I really wanted to know that he was still head over heels in love with her and treating her like a princess (which is rather the point of a series). I would still recommend this book and I will be buying the next one in the series.

A time for change
Having read this authors first work, I was expecting this book to be in the same vein and was left slightly disappointed in this expectation. However, that is not to say that this story is not without its merit. How does one reacts when you inform your husband that you are pregnant and he told you to get out? That was the predicament that Bronwyn found herself in when she told her husband Bryce that she was pregnant. Why did he react like that? she did not stick around to find out, but two years later, the opportunity to find out the answers to all the questions that were plaguing her since that faithful night presented itself to her.now Bronwyn is back living with her husband and instead of things improving, they seems to sliding down a slippery slop of no return. Now her husband seems to really hate her and blame her for the accident he had while she was away and she had no clue as to why he would blame her for something that she was completely innocent of.They both had to work painfully through their distrust of each other as well as their hurts and pains to find out what when wrong in their marriage. For one, it was a voyage of self discovery and for the other it was a time to make a decision that would either heal or destroy a marriage that was already hanging on by a thread. Although this story was written from both h/h POV it still felt as though there was a lack of depth in the story. It also felt as though the ending of the story was rushed and part of it was missing from the final draft. There was also the added fact that I think that Bronwyn was not as strong as she could have been in light of how badly Bryce treated her. First he withheld his affection when the marriage was 'good,' then he became extremely nasty to her and all he could say to her as a justification for his behaviour was that he was scared of becoming like his deceased father. In other words, I think that both Bronwyn and Bryce had a lot of emotional growing to do before they could have a successful relationship with each other. To me, there were something missing from this story, so I have a hard time going beyond liking it.

enjoyable
Really enjoyed this book. The story was both heart breaking and heart warming. Loved that Bryce had to grovel to get his family back, they certainly deserved that and so much more. Really loved getting to know all the characters.
