I enjoyed the flavor after the initial taste was gone. I don't know what the first taste was unless it was supposed to be the skin of the pear. But it was juicy after that. My Friends said the same thing when I shared them.

The only Jelly Belly better than Juicy Pear is Tutti Fruitti, and the only flavor that is better than Tutti Fruitti is, of course TOP BANANA.Basically, Juicy Pear is one of the absolute top flavors--and the ones in this package reinforced that fact. Soft, chewy, fresh, perfect. Absolutely wonderful, not too sticky, not too hard, just right. This is why I eat Jelly Bellys.Get you some! unless you don't like good things, I mean.
