Nice looking fan
Seems good to me, the build quality is good but I've not ran it for long so I can't comment on the functionality as this was slightly to large for my setup, I found that the casing pushed on the side of my RAM stick which made me nervous so i replaced it for a different cooler and kept this for a spare. Please take a second to hit the helpful button it makes taking the time to write the review worthwhile x.

NOT AM4 COMPATIBLE
they claim it is AM4 (ryzen) compatible i have just had the butt Ache to fit this to a AM4 socket, firstly you need the old brackets that you take off you know the ones that are plastic that are there to protect the socket when in transit, then it has one point of contact so you have to hold it down while fiddling with it to get it on, it feels less than safe and if it were not for the Extra ram i wanted and the wraith cooler blocked from being fitted i would have just chucked it in the bin, there are no indicators on the fan to show air flow and there are no instructions any where for fitting it to an AM4 board, AVOID THIS IF YOU OWN A RYZEN AM4 CPU

Excellent but has drawbacks
I bought this as I wanted the cheapest cooler for an old i7 with ~77W cooling. It so happens this is incredible for the price. I read other reviews before it arrived and was concerned about the RAM being too close. It will slightly cover a RAM slot. Mine are lp and the cooler sits just above one of the sticks but isn’t quite touching. When opening the cooler I noticed a good quality feel to it. There’s a decent weight and the fan looks sturdy. So far so good. The instructions are easy to follow and installing it really is as easy as claimed. The pre applied paste is slightly too thick for my liking but does the job just fine. The noise really is quiet to the point you won’t notice it. Even under load it stays cool and quiet. There are some drawbacks though. Once you attach the mounts on the motherboard you cannot change the CPU without removing the mounts which means removing the whole motherboard again. Not an issue for a lot of people but if you change CPU or try different ones like I did to test the the cooler then it’s a bit annoying. The RAM space is going to be an issue for a lot of people. As most reviews say it’s main strength is the low noise and low design. After testing a few 2/3 gen pentium, i3, i5 and i7s I can say that it doesn’t cool much better than my dell optiplex. But it’s is a lot quieter. If you’re looking for a new cooler to add to your build and just want to leave it alone and, with the lack of noise, forget it’s there then this is perfect. Especially with the pre applied paste.

Knocked 15-20c off stock cooler.
Worked well! Small, very quiet and knocked 15-20c of the stock Ryzen 3600 cpu cooler.

Cheap and does the job but need space to fit it.
Installed on an Intel i5-2500k. My case does have good airflow. Fan speed is temperature modulated by the mother board. This may seem cheap but it does the job. Prior to this I had a pumped heat sink with a separate radiator but the pump failed after 4 years. So I wanted something to replace it and I wanted it quickly.Having read some reviews on this cooler but still feeling it was a little too cheap, I went ahead and ordered it.It arrived quickly and installed without too much trouble and has been in use for 6 months now. I have monitored cpu temperatures at times and find that it is running quite cool and no hotter than the previous 'top end' cooler. It is quite a lump sitting on top of the cpu compared to the previous pumped cooler and I only just had enough clearance of other components to allow its fixture. All in all I am satisfied with it.

Way Better than AM3+ FX 6100 Stock fan.
My 7 year old PC (AMD FX6100, 6 Core, 3.3Ghz) was having some problems as it was going into thermal shutdown, the CPU was getting to around 95 degrees+ (Celsius) just from opening 3 or more browser windows, it was running at 75 to 80 degrees just from running windows. The room my PC is in, is around 30 degrees at the moment due to a heatwave.Bought this one and it immediately solved the problem, in some cases the CPU can get a low as 20 degrees now, and topping out at round 60.This one replaced the branded AMD cooler.Fitting this cooler is a little more difficult than normal as you cannot just clip it on, you have to loosen the screws holding the clips on the cooler, put it in place and then tighten them down. This cooler is very large, so make sure you have the space before you buy. After fitting the new cooler my PC is very quiet also. (using Artic case fans too)

... as it wasn't really doing the job and was pretty loud, now bear in mind that this is ...
I swapped my stock AMD cooler to this one as it wasn't really doing the job and was pretty loud, now bear in mind that this is large. I have a large fractal case and it only just fits. Downsides being that my motherboard wouldn't allow me to install it in the recommended way with air flow towards the rear of the case, mine is pointing up straight into the PSU. But worst of all is that the heat sink is slightly touching one of the ram modules. But neither of theses "problems" appear to have caused any mischief... yet. But being as its running ice cool I'm not too worried. The cooler itself is quite amazing. The thermal margin I'm achieving is incredible, 50-70 degrees! It's not as difficult to install as many reviews make out, for AMD at least you simply remove the old one and attach this one to the clips. Thermal paste is pre applied. The instructions are pictorial but clear. For less than £20 I wasn't expecting much from this product but I would recommend it. It looks the business and so far has the minerals too.

I've used several of these on home built PCs and found them reasonable to install though, of course, appropriate case is needed whether fitting the stock Intel cooler or this larger one. I've not done trials or even monitored temperatures but it would be surprising if their not effective in use. Indeed, in view of the price of the CPU that is being cooled they seem good value to me.
