Sturdy!
I bought these because I have a metal arbor that keeps falling over in high winds. It has stakes but they are straight and loosen easily in the soil. I screwed these in the ground, close to one of the vertical arbor posts, and attached them with a zip tie. I didn't do a great job leveling the arbor against the ground but so far, in spite of the subsequent high winds the arbor has remained upright. My neighbor is getting a set for her arbor that keeps blowing down. These are very helpful and easy to screw in the ground.

Very Secure in Clay Ground
I screwed this into the ground, which is made of clay here in Ohio. The clear plastic tube made it easy to rotate the screw in. I then tried to pull it out and there was no way it could be pulled out. I'd feel quite secure using these to tie down our 10' by 10' popup shelter with no worry about it blowing away should a strong thunderstorm roll through. Now if you had loose, sandy, or loamy soil, I think there is a possibility it could be ripped out but I couldn't test it in those soils because here we have only clay. (Maybe you could use more or longer screws in those soils.)I liked the fact that the "top" had several ways that you could attach it to the rope. It had open "hooks" which could be very convenient in situations where the rope lines would not move very much because you could just slide a loop of rope on and off them very quickly. And they also had closed "loops" for a windier situation where you wanted to make absolutely 100% sure the rope did not disconnect from the screw. Just feed the rope through the loop and use a taut-line hitch (look it up) to make a secure yet adjustable tie-down rope.Unfortunately it did not come with a storage bag so I just put the screws into a gallon size slider Ziplock bag and shoved it into the storage bag of our popup. I think the price is a bit high but the quality is there. I would definitely recommend this product.

Worked as described, but a minot observation.
I used these this weekend on a typical campground in Ocala to secure my RV's awning. The screw grabbed the ground and screwed in perfectly, like buttah. I could tell it was a nice and secure hold. My only observation is that there was just a bit of give on the head when I put some pull pressure by hand. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, this thing certainly looked like it could take some force... but I don't know if I would call these "indestructible" either, which is a tall claim almost no brand should ever make. It's hard plastic at the end of the day, so it will have shatter limits. What those are are yet to be seen. Unlike other screw-type anchors that I've seen out there... the design of these, that is to say, the way the screw is designed feels like it is the better design than some of the other wider screw types. Like a wine cork-screw, this thing really dug in quickly and strongly. I will keep testing on other surfaces, but so far, I really like it.

A useful solution to hold things down.
This is a clever solution for holding a tarp down.

Used for hammock camping.
I used these anchors (4), to anchor a custom hammock stand. Worked well.

The company stands behind their product!
I purchased my Orange Screw set back in 2018. It has served me well!So why am I here five years later finally reviewing it?Because I had the opportunity of working with their warranty claims department. First off, let’s talk about the orange sxrew.I’ve put my screw through the winter in a variety of terrain, some not so welcoming of anchors and three of my four screws have held up incredible well! One screw got a little deformed over the years but I continued using it without issue until just recently, I had a canopy installed in a very windy place. One where the man in you knows better to take it down but also knows better to try to make it work because the misses is holding a bake sale lol.Sure enough, a large gust of wind caught the canopy and the force snapped one of the anchors. It was the warped deformed one. The other three held their ground and refused to budge. It was enough of a gust that it practically cleared my girlfriend’s table or baked goods so she tear me the ok to tear down.Upon inspection I discovered that the anchor that broke was the one that looked like it was on its last leg. I submitted a pic to the company and they immediately responded that they were replacing the set without issue. It was a pleasant experience and I’m just happy to be able to confidently say that these guys stand behind their product and after having to utilize their lifetime claim I’m glad I picked the original brand. I’ve seen some clones that look similar but I recommend you buy the original, what good is a lifetime warranty for companies that come and go under new brand names every three months. The orange screw is the company that’s been in the game far longer than I discovered them. You won’t be disappointed and in the rare event that you are I’m confident they will work to make it right. They did right by me.

Great sturdy anchors
I ordered these to anchor a tree I planted as my Prairie winds have a tendency to make them lean before they get solid and established. I’ve since ordered another set. I’ve used them for anchoring my purple Martin pole when setting in concrete and to set up the guides for a overhead canopy at an art fair. Easy to use and hook up bungees or tie lines… lightweight and pack easily without taking up too much space, orange and easy to see. A very useful item!

Good for soil, not so for sand.
Good quality.I mainly bought these to use at the beach. Unless you dig really deep down, they are pretty much useless, you can just pull them up with your hands. But these are probably good for soil.
