We hid our TV cables in the drywall from behind the TV down next to the outlet and these work great and look good.If you opt to go for just the the wall plates, make sure you measure the clearance in the middle of the bracket that you buy. The center of the wall plate that holds the bristles protrudes in back, and will not fit all brackets. Thats why it's easier just to buy this combo pack!

Needed to pass coax and ethernet between 2 rooms and these worked perfect. Just need a small drywall saw and a screwdriver.
