AlpecinDouble Effect 200 Ml Shampoo - Pack Of 2

My barber during a hair cut recommended I get a shampoo that works for dandruff, he said there was evidence of some and that my hair and scalp needed some drying out and that dandruff shampoo worked for that.I'm in my 40's and my hair is thinning so I thought I may as well get some hair loss shampoo at the same time to kill 2 birds with one stone. This is done through the caffeine complex with Alpecin and when you wash your hair, you leave it on for 2 minutes then wash it off.This works for me because my hair feels cleaner. As to whether it prevents further hair loss, who knows? You have to trust in the research. Would I have receded further had I not used this shampoo? I don't know but am happy to use it as you can't claim a product does something when it doesn't. Otherwise it makes your hair feel nice when it's washed and it isn't really that expensive so I've carried on using it and will keep doing so.

Made my very fine hair lovely and soft. Started to grow back when I was using this product. (Hair loss was caused by rapid weight loss)I would recommend this shampoo as it was nice to use and lasted quite a while as you don't need to use much to get a lather.

This shampoo brought my dandruff back at a very worst level. There were sometimes scratching my scalp and taking out pieces of dandruff. Unfortunately this product is not for my hair.For sure this product is not for Seborrhoeic dermatitis!!! So it seems at least. I must admit though that i felt my hair thicker. But no use as i was scratching my scalp all the time!

Its shampoo, it foams and cleans and keeps me regular, enough said. I didnt buy this for the hair falling out bit, just the dandruff bit, so I am not able to comment on whether its stopping my follicles withering or not, no dusty shoulders at the moment. I am worried the caffeine is going to stop me passing drugs tests at the Olympics, unless they start testing the burger flippers I think I am safe there. Wash and be happy.

This shampoo has made a significant difference to my hair. I've had hair thinning for many years, I have hereditary hair loss which is awful for a women. I had a patch on the top of my head which was getting thinner. After around one month of using this shampoo I had new hair growth. Three months later my hair now looks and geeks thicker and the patch is almost gone. I wash my hair around four/ five times a week and I leave the shampoo on for at least two minutes each time I wash.
