I wanted a wide brim hat for extra sun protection and definitely provided that, and something could keep thick hair in top knot/high pony. I have a longer/oval face and thick hair so style right size for my face but may not work for petite/smaller faces. The draw string is annoying so will be removed. Hat rolls up well / unrolls well in suitcase. A lot easier than travelling with a large hat.

Shade sun off my eyes. If slight drizzle keep my glasses dry.

I do not like that there is a large black on white logo on the visor I was delivered which was not shown on any photos or reviews of the black visor. Can this be removed I wonder or shall i return the item and reorder another one ? I wrote to the Seller via a link sent to me by Amazon and complained about the Logo. The Seller apologized and issued a refund. They could not guarantee that if I order the same item again it will come without a logo so I will not place another order. However, I can say that the visor itself is very good for shading my entire face . Pity about the Logo.

I bought this visor last year and it's still like new despite constant wear. I have long hair that I wear up during outside activities as temps are hot here. I was interested in something to protect my face and eyes from sun damage. I have floppy hats and visors but those are not for yard work, walking and hiking. This visor stays on my big head and is very comfortable. The velcro makes it easy to adjust and after a year, the velcro is still strong. The seams/threads are still intact. I wash this in the dishwasher without problems. The brim is just wide enough to get most of my face, but any wider the wind would dislodge and peripheral vision is hindered. Just perfect. I like the black band because it hides sweat marks but the white reflects the light. My sunglasses fit well under the brim. I love this visor and will repurchase when necessary or for gifts.

Very soft to wear it, and it does what it says. Love it!
