I am not totally impressed with the longer seam rippers either. The handles are too slim to get a good grip on, aren't very sharp, and they feel flimsy. **Q: Where can I buy more replacement blades? I sew for a living and go through them quickly, but love these snippers.** A: This set was not worth it Very cheaple made and did not hold up well. **Q: Do the snippers have a gaurd or covering** A: No and if you change the blades which they nicely provide it takes patience to learn or it did for me.
