Not as good as expected
Bought this expecting more than the machine can deliver.. I usually use my petrol leaf blower to dry my car which is excellent, I spent a while looking at these and decided that this one looked the best option even though its around £100 more than some others available. This is uncapable of moving large quantities of beaded water from the car and takes ages to dry the car which gives time for the water to start drying, which is annoying. So after washing you still need to leather off 80% of the car before using this. Its ok for chasing the last few bits out of various water holding places like door mirrors etc. Personally I wouldn't recommend which is a shame.

Touchless Drying? Not quite.
I’ve always been on the lookout for something that could give me a touchless dry. There are so many mixed reviews about these kind of machines. Whether it’s realistic to dry your whole car with them, or whether you should only use them on door handles, apertures etc.The master blaster looked great but certainly not worth the £400-£500 to import it in from the states. I saw a few others but I wasn’t convinced. Then I came across the BLO GT, which in actual fact has better stats then every other mainstream counterpart including the master blaster.. yet at a fraction of the price.I have a Lexus LS430 which is a huge car (think 7 series) and it has the softest dark blue paint I’ve ever come across. A couple of months ago I spent 3 days doing a paint correction session on it.. yet even a solid weekly two bucket wash with a wet drying towel is leaving me with swirls coming back. I can only pin it down to the towel, even though it’s a well known branded high quality towel. So I bought one of these with the intention of completely eradicating all touches apart from the shampoo stage which is very tender with a HQ lambswool mitt. The BLO comes with an extremely long hose, which will do for most cars. Unfortunately because of the size of mine I still have to wheel the blower around. The two motors do bring out a ridiculous amount of air pressure. And I believe it increases the temp 10 degrees above ambient temp (don’t quote me on that I can’t see the stats from the review page). It’s best to let it build up. After 5 minutes it dried the panels significantly better than when I had just turned it on.So did it dry my car and make my towel redundant? In a nutshell yes.. but not very well. I was very anxious about how long it was taking to do a panel, and if I was getting water marks on the other side of the car whilst all this was going on. It’s also worth noting that if you’ve snow foamed earlier on you really need to make sure you’ve got every bit washed off before you use this. I dried 70% of the car and then hit a roof trim that had some snow foam hiding and the BLO’s air pressure blew this all over the nicely dried bonnet, windscreen and the rest of the roof. I wasn’t impressed as I had to rinse this down again. You definitely cannot use this on a summers day post 9-10am. By the time you’ve done one panel the rest of the car would have dried in the sun and you will have water marks everywhere. Obviously if you’re a pro with a indoor unit then none of this applies to you.. but for us weekend warriors you need to take this into consideration. In terms of noise, it is loud, but no louder then my pressure washer, or if I had a vacuum cleaner outside cleaning the interior. In summary I like the BLO GT. It’s definitely got a place in my detailing armoury. I don’t think I will completely stop drying with a towel but I think there will be times when I will use this to do the job entirely. I do wish another firm could master this as the idea is a brilliant one.. I suspect in years to come we will view the BLO GT as a primitive attempt at touchless drying, but I do think it’s a well made honest machine that’s probably as good as it’s gonna get at the time of writing this review. Not the finished product but worth the money, especially if you work indoors and have a smaller car.

Impressive!
Wow this thing has power! I Used to dry my car with a battery powered bosch garden blower but this produces so much more air, incredible. I haven't used more then half power yet and could easily blow all the aber of the car. Only a quick wipe with a drying towel was required after that. The device itself is no louder then a normal vacuum cleaner but the air hitting the car at certain angles makes a really high pitched noise, ear protection is a must!
