I love pocket screws. The drill bit that came with my original Kreg kit grew dull and was not making holes anymore. I bought this replacement one and it's a perfect replacement. Its the same size and it comes with all the other items that you need including allen wrench. I would highly recommend this if your original bit grows dull.

After setting the stop collar to the length I needed for the drill bit, I used it for several holes. Then I needed to readjust the stop collar on the bit but as soon as I attempted to loosen the Allen screw that's used to secure the stop collar on the drill bit, it "rounded out" Allen screw. So now it's stuck at the first place I installed it on the bit. I'll have to drill out the Allen screw now and replace it with one that actually doesn't strip out on the first attempt to loosen it! The drill bit itself is great. Works as expected. It's the stop collars tightening screw that is garbage.

This is a perfect fit and a great price.

I lost my bit for my pocket hole jig. I was happy to find a replacement here because the store only sold it with new jigs. I loved the price and it works fine.

I have the pocket hole foreman and drill a lot of pocket holes for cabinets and such. Sometimes I get so excited that I may move the piece I'm working on and snap the tip of the bit right off. Doesn't mater if it is one of these or a more expensive Kreg drill the little tip has no chance when I get all wiggly. So these are more affordable when you go through a drill bit every 1-3 thousand holes. Unless I let my father in law borrow the machine then its every 1-3 hundred holes ........

I got this as a replacement for a Kreg pocket hole drill bit that had become dull. If you are doing the same, be aware that the shank is slightly smaller (millimeter or so) than the Kreg, so it will be a bit loose in the jig guide. This hasn’t been a problem for me, but it’s possible it could cause vibration, misalignment, or faster bit dulling.One issue I had with it is that the included collar does not hold sufficiently tight, and I accidentally drilled almost all the way through the piece I was working on. Additionally the collar does not sit flush, so it will sit at an angle and could mar your piece if using it without a jig.Using this bit with the collar from my Kreg bit worked just fine for me. But I think I will opt for a Kreg-brand bit next time.

If you a kreg jig and your drill bit is dull, this is the best replacement here in India.. tried some local brands but it was not working at all... This thing works just like the one you get from kreg.. price could have been a little off day below 1k inr but what do you do.. this is the cheapest one you can find.. buy it if you are from India.. i had a project pending but with this i could finish it..
