Great brand, high absorption magnesium, too much vitamin B, also consider the Magnox 520
First off, this has been a lifesaver for me. After being diagnosed with a magnesium deficiency (68% of Americans are deficient), I tested over 20 different brands and formulas. This is my favorite for a variety of reasons -it's the highest dose in the smallest capsule, it's very bioavailable, and even large doses have little to no effect on the bowels.Magnox is an Israeli company, a high end manufacturer of supplements, who rely on evidence based research for their products. I generally hold a very high opinion of them. However, much of the bottle, packaging, and web site is in Hebrew, and they aren't good at including their ingredients in their literature or photos. They formulated magnesium in a new way - hydroxide (not oxide) - which according to studies has better absorption than any previously known version of magnesium.Their other accomplishment - they were the first to look closely at how to measure magnesium levels. Up until very recently, only blood tests were used, which is a horrible way to test for magnesium - you're only looking at the small percent that is floating around in your blood. 99+% of the magnesium in your body is in bones and tissue, so the best way to test magnesium levels is a cellular/tissue sample. So tissue samples not only confirm that their version of magnesium had far superior absorption, they also showed that the most popular forms of magnesium supplements (organic ligands such as taurate, glycinate, aspartate, & orotate) are actually the worst at absorption, you just eliminate them through kindeys/urine.I recently tried a popular brand with mega marketing campaign, called Magnesium Breakthrough by Bioptimizer. I can attest that their organic ingredients do not work nearly as well as the Magnox. With one Magnox, my low magnesium symptoms (cramps, restless leg, etc) go away. But I was taking 5 or 6 of the Magnesium Breakthrough per day, with poor results.Magnesium deficiency can a whole host of problems, including cramps, migraines, tension, poor sleep, hypertension, even shaking and parkinsons-like symptoms. My only complaint is their vitamin B. You need vitamin B (or have a good amount in your system) for the magnesium to be absorbed, and it definitely helps with migraines. However, this is a ridiculously high dose - 20,833% of your B12. I just don't agree with it. Studies support mega doses of B for treatment of certain acute problems (migraine, heart problem, etc), but I wouldn't use it for daily dose. I recently tested off the charts for B6 and B12, I couldn't imagine taking this type of dose.So my conclusions:-I would take this if you feel a migraine coming on, but not daily.-This is a great source of magnesium, but for daily use, get Magnox 520 or Magnox 365 - those are just plain magnesium, nothing added.-I would ALSO add magnesium L-threonate when you take magnesium. It's the best kind for penetrating the blood/brain barrier, so it's used for prevention and even treatment for neurological or nervous disorders such as parkinsons.-There may be benefits to taking a magnesium blend in addition to this. But avoid: taurate, glycinate, aspartate, orotate, and magnesium oxide (remember, Magnox magnesium is oxide monohydrate which is different).

Works phenomenally well on headaches!
In the past, the only things that have successfully taken away my headaches are either a good run, or aspirin. However, I also happen to take aspirin and run every single morning, in that order. My high school running coach got me in the habit of taking aspirin before runs to prevent pain, and since I run every day I also take it every day. On occasion, I'll also consume aspirin to alleviate headaches, but I almost never get these unless I haven't run outside (very rare), haven't slept well (not as rare), or have been cranking out code for hours on end (much more common) and I've noticed that aspirin hasn't done the trick as efficiently as it once did, so I thought I'd experiment with this supplement to see what happens. I've since taken this supplement three times, and it has worked every single time! In all of these three scenarios, it was a combination of running on the treadmill due to the extreme cold weather in Chicago over recent weeks, and not sleeping well because I didn't have good outdoor runs (treadmill runs are definitely not the same). Note that I've never had migraines before, just headaches due to the aforementioned known causes. Interestingly, this product claims that the culprit might be magnesium deficiency, but I've been consuming magnesium malate on a daily basis for many years and know from tests that I'm not deficient. This product also provides some B2 and B12, but I already daily consume B2 from my multivitamin, and methyl B12 (methylcobalamin) at a rate 6x the amount in this supplement (note that not everyone should take methyl B12, and Magnox Mig doesn't provide this form of B12), so it must be the specific type of magnesium used in this product, magnesium oxide monohydrate, which has provided the positive effect for me.

Interesting
The media could not be loaded. This supplement is loaded with B2, B12, and has a good amount of magnesium. The only thing that's weird is the logo. I don't know, it's kind of creepy. Check it out in the video.

Miracle supplement
I have struggled with migraines for 30 years - having to take zomig tablets at least 20 times a month. I tried all the migraine medications and only zomig would work. 3 years ago I started having one every day and the medications have so many side effects. Finally someone (not my neurologist or any other doctor) told me that I may have a magnesium deficiency so I got onto Amazon and found Magnox 4 months ago and it has been a miracle. Immediately upon taking it my migraines disappeared. As long as I stay away from chocolate and citrus and nuts I do not get any migraines at all. This is a miracle drug for me. Thank you Magnox!!!
