This little clamp is a total game changer for Dyson vacuums. It snaps right on and lets you keep the vacuum running without having to constantly hold the power button, which makes cleaning so much easier on your hand and wrist. The installation takes only a few seconds and it fits snugly without feeling loose or flimsy. The build quality is solid for such a small accessory, and it does exactly what it promises. I honestly cannot believe Dyson does not include something like this with their vacuums already.

This device frees up one of my hands so that I can turn on Dyson, and leave it on hands-free, which is especially good if you want to clean wooden or metal blinds, small corners in a room or office. It is best to buy an attachable flexible 2-5 foot hose made for a Dyson V10 and a few other models for the attached cleaning brush that is best for a particular job. Amazon also sells this nice attachment for particular Dyson cordless vacs. For many, this ReeYear Power Button Control Clamp Device may install easily, but I needed to watch the short video that the buyer supplies in their Amazon advertisement to be able to install it easily and quickly. The clamp device needs to be slid in far enough so that when you rotate the devices on-off button, it must actually depress the Dyson Finger Slide to turn the machine on and leave it on. It will stay on until you rotate the installed clamp device, backwards, to its off position. One reader gave it 1 star since the device fell off, and was lost forever. Buyer was understandably upset. My ReeYear clamp device fit tightly on the Dyson On-Off Push-Button platform, but despite the tight fit, who knows when it might still slip off when I, my wife, or our hired cleaning person were using our cordless Dyson V10 vacuum? My fix to prevent this happenstance from occurring was to take a small 4x1 mm piece of a (yellow colored) sticky rubbery, clay-like substance that is sold in Hardware Stores, to hold objects on a shelf or table from falling off, as in an Earthquake of mild to modest intensity. As long as the sticky, rubbery substance is placed (stuck to) the Dyson plastic ramp at the front end of the ReeYear clamp device. This fix, will give the clamp device a rubbery, stickum wall of much greater resistance, so that it's possibility of sliding off will be impossible to extremely unlikely. If you want to remove the clamp device, first remove the front obstructive rubbery wall, and then slide off the ReeYear clamp.

Installation instructions that came with the item were super confusing, opted to watch the videos in the Amzn listing to figure it out. Once installed properly worked great. Lets see how long it lasts. I recommend.

No more trying to unbend my finger after vacuuming! Just flick the lever - on, flick again - off, easy as can be. To read the enclosed instructions you need a microscope, and the pictures are no help, but it still took under five minutes to get this thing properly seated and operating. It takes a bit of maneuvering to install properly, but it's not very complicated. Make sure to not push the unit too far onto the vacuum as that will leave the unit always turned on. I cant talk to longevity, but the unit sufficiently grabs on so that it does not wobble or move. I'm very glad I purchased this. As other commenters have noted, Dyson should design their vacuums with a simple on/off switch. But, this unit is a cheap, easy and effective fix for that design flaw.

Works better than I imagined. Fits right in and is pretty secure once lodged. Very discreet. I got it mostly for when I’m using one of those third party flexible hoses but it’s so well integrated that you ca leave it there on the trigger all the time, with any attachment. Comes in a very nice, hard plastic case.

I really like this item because it holds the trigger down and saves my finger. The only negative thing is that the red lever broke after almost a year of light use.

Product material is poor. The handle keeps falling off. It does not served its purpose,save your money and get other product or design.

This stays on the trigger guard and although it looks a bit fiddle, it works.

Super simple yet super effective little device. Makes vacuuming with the Dyson V15 Detect much more comfortable. Seems to be made of high quality plastics and has performed flawlessly so far. Definitely recommend! Is a must have in my opinion :)
