Illuminating, like a divine light.
Why this is mentioned as a cabinet light is beyond me. Twelve of these could light up the whole of my village, or for setting up an extraterrestrial like encounter for walker bys. You can adjust the light brightness output, if you don't fancy the "deer caught in headlights" effect everytine you go for a late night visit to the bathroom.Only gripe is the magnetic strip's adhesive part isn't very strong. So unless it's smooth tiles or glass your sticking it to, use some flat headed screws to mount the slippery magnet strip to the wooden surface (or super strong bonding glue). Otherwise, poor light takes a bashing. There are three modes you can set it to. I've got mine set for bathroom on: only activate in the dark with motion, the one in the garage comes on any time it senses motion. This is so the other motion activated light don't affect it coming on. But seeing as the other lights I have rely on solar power to charge, they're pretty much useless in the winter months! The light in the garage is on medium brightness, as you can see from the photos, that is sufficient! In the bathroom it's on lowest. It provides ample light to clearly see how miserable you look as you pass the cupboard mirrors. I might put it on the highest brightness one day, and just leave some sunglasses on the side. Will update here to see what the blind test results come back as.Battery so far has lasted a weeks worth of usage. They charge up like everything else you plug in. Red light for under 50% battery. Green if it's over. The kind of simple complexity we all love in a simple non complex device, like from a lighty uppy thingy.Overall. Good. I like this product... might get more to make the whole house and car interiors to light up as of when I require illuminating.Update 31/12/2021 - The lights still worketh! They hold their charge for over a month. I usually take them down and plug them in every 3 to 4 weeks to charge them back up. I lost one due to gravity... Another one is stuck on whatever motion detection mode it feels like. They don't like being dropped from a height of over 8 feet. But neither do I.

Great for a walk in larder
Recently had a new kitchen, the star item is a massive walk in pantry, which really needed some lights so we can find what we're looking for. These lights work an absolute treat. The instructions are OK, just need to fiddle with the settings so you can get it set in your mind what each button does. I've set it to medium light, on the BLUE setting, so if anyone opens the door then the lights come on. Easy to recharge as I've got a USB port right next to the pantry, it seems to last about a week before sticking it on charge, A good buy, I'm happy.Edit in Dec 2020 - These are great lights, but let down by the adhesive mounting, they just don't do the job and drop off. As others have said the solution is to glue the mounts in place, or use very small screws to keep it secure.Edit in Jan 2021 - These lights are the best solution for inside my walk in pantry, I've tried a couple of other LED lights and found these the best. If you buy a set of two, then make sure they have a setting which sets BOTH PIR and Light sensitive, which these do. (BLUE). If you don't then you might find that if you put up two lights then one will come on when you open the door, but the other one doesn't, as it detects its no longer dark. With this set, I open the door and both come on, just what I need.

Light in the dark
Manual is tiny but thankfully not on the un it itself and its user friendly status ought to consider that some of us need the light because our eyesight has been damaged. I needed the help of a carer to work out how the unit worked , realize it needed charging before use read the manual and put the b attery provided in the remote, but the product itself is xactly what I need in a home with limited electrical sockets and ech ceiling lights that give off less light than a candle. I am discovering more uses for this product everyday so will be purc hasing more unless I discover a problem in thefuture. The proximaty function is perfect for someone needing guide lights as well as illumination in cupboards and bookcases.

Sleek and Bright
So I got these as a present for my Dad, he's just retired and is into wood turning and lots of other stuff like general DIYHe wanted something to help light up the garage because we only have one main light at the moment and little opportunity to wire any more from the mainsI saw these in a Uni lab, or rather some like these, and thought they'd be excellentYou can either use the internal battery or just let it be powered constantlyThe fact that they're magnetic is ideal as they attach onto the metal beams in the roofing really easilyThey recharge fast, in about an hour or soThey last about 8 hours, which when you're in and out of the garage works well because it means charging them every few weeksThe style is lovelyThey look very modern, the aluminium finish is lovely, it even appears to have a clear anodized finish which helps protect thenThe magnets are fairly strongMy main criticism is that the button to turn on and off is very small and feels a little flimsy, if they could make it slightly larger itd make it easier to turn on/offThe motion detection is very good! It turns on almost immediately and has a decent enough time out that you don't have to dance every 5 minutes but does turn off after about 10 which is fineThey are super bright, very impressed with their brightnessMy dad loves them, and they've really helped light up our garage which used to be very dingy and darkOverall very happy!
