It makes for a convenient way to custom cut the size of your bags without having to haul out your kitchen scissors. I haven’t sealed anything with liquid in it yet but I think it’ll do a fine job with that. I also have to make the bag a little longer to give the liquid a place to go other than out of the bag. The price of this unit is extremely reasonable. It seems to be a high build quality and it’s solid. One comes with five bags and the other comes with 55 bags, they both come with an 8 inch 79 foot roll though. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and am pleased with performance. Can’t speak to longevity, but it seems well designed and feels well made. Soft touch buttons are water resistant and easy to clean. There is only one thing I recognize as a design flaw. They placed the soft touch buttons where your fingers go while manipulating the device. The result is the user keeps activating buttons accidentally. It's proven a fitful problem for both myself and the other user of my Inkbird. It’s a somewhat petty problem as there’s seldom a bag in the machine when this happens and it can be overcome by user training, but any kitchen gadget, especially one with so few functions, should just be intuitive to operate.
