I just received the Fitindex Home Gym. The bands feel to be good quality. The base is a little thinly made, but it is very light and portable because it folds up. I am unsure how much use I'll get out of the smaller handle attachments as changing the carabiners is a bit tough due to the way the loops sit in the eyehole of the carabiner partially obstructing the function of the gate. I imagine over time that'll be resolved as the material softens and stretches. Perhaps you could use additional carabiners to make that even easier. I am happy to just use it for the squat exercise though. Having something small and quiet, that isn't very bulky or heavy, to do a squat-like exercise is convenient. I was considering a jumpstretch setup, that would likely have been more heavy duty. I have seen additional bands sold separately, but the included 160lbs in bands works nicely for my purposes. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Initially loved the product. Then out of no where, the bar came apart in the middle while my wife was using it. This caused her arms to twist unexpectedly and overextend due to the resistance straps. Upon inspecting the bar and the manner in which it connects, this is clearly a design flaw. The screw in the middle turns in both directions which means there is no way of knowing whether it’s turning in place while you put the bar together and that could result in the screw not being evenly embedded on both ends — very dangerous and painful should it come apart when in use as it did for my wife.UPDATE: company sent me a new slightly longer screw. Same issue exists that it turns on either side so still not safe. On top of that, went to use it today and with barely any pressure one of the 50lb straps broke. Looks like it just disconnected inside the nylon cover. This entire thing is just cheaply made.

Overall, this is a decent product!I previously had cheaper resistance bands (another manufacturer here on Amazon) with no base included. The base allows you to perform upper body resistance exercises *without* needing to loop it under your foot/feet.Door Anchor: This set DOES include a door anchor. (I noticed it wasn't pictured on the Amazon product description as of the time I bought & reviewed this). See my image of how the door anchor works. It's study and I enjoy using it.The plastic base: OK. So, this is the piece that sets this apart from other resistance bands on Amazon. This is likely the reason for the higher price (since the manufacture and shipping of a base adds much more shipping volume than a traditional resistance band set.)My complaints about the base can be remediated:[-] The base is meant to be folded, however the placement of the foam 'feet' inserts on the bottom (pictured) were not spaced to provide the best weight distribution. By default, the foam inserts were staggered (every other) to allow it to fold. But, it left a slight imbalance when standing on it. You can feel some parts are slightly raised and lowered than the rest. The configuration left a small gap between the floor at several places (also pictured).While standing on the base, it feels sturdy enough (the gaps close and touch the floor), but having it 'fold' left the base feeling slightly less sturdy than it could have been. It's ABS plastic, so it should be strong enough to withstand my weight (~200lb). It's similar thickness and feel of a plastic bathroom scale-- it may creak and flex a little bit. But, being portable, it is a good tradeoff (without having a massively heavy base.)My solve: I don't plan to travel with it, so I moved the foam inserts into the pattern (pictured). It feels more sturdy, BUT it does not fold together (since the foam inserts collide).The rest: Compared to my previous 'cheapo' (half the price) set from Amazon, the resistance bands are great quality! My previous ones didn't have the frilly protective sheath, so it would occasionally rub/pull against my skin. The protective (nylon?) sheath on these makes skin brushes painless. Pricing: I don't know how much cost the ABS plastic base (with aluminum rings) adds to manufacturing cost, and do I know the box is 6x larger and 3x heavier than a traditional resistance band set, so the shipping costs are higher. Is it worth the extra money for the base? Maybe! I haven't made up my mind.Overall, the set includes everything I expect. I'm happy with the base (albeit it could use a slight engineering improvement for the foam inserts). I'll still make most use of the door anchor, but I don't regret the purchase of the base.

The bar sucks. It broke in two the first time I tried to use it. The bar is also too short. I have not tried to get in contact with the seller yet to see what can be done about that. I love the plat form due to its sturdiness and has a solid base, unlike the more expensive ones. Because I had bought another bar which will work with the product I am not returning it, as I said earlier, the base (plat form) is solid. I think they should either get a better bar (one piece instead of two bars that connect together) will solve the breaking issue. They would be better off getting rid of the bar if they are not going to use a better one because if the bar breaks so easy people may just return the item due to that reason alone thinking that if the bar is crappy then the whole set up is trash. Your company is losing money buy using a crappy bar when the rest of the equipment is actually pretty good......I'm just saying.

I love this portable gym. It has made working out at home so easy. I feel the unit could be a bit more sturdy but over all its great quality and does what its intended for.

If you don't own any free weights, then this product might be for you. I purchased it thinking it could enhance my home workouts with the bar and overhead door anchor, but not worth the price for just those two exercises. The rest of the exercises can be done with free weights and you'll get a more accurate idea of progress with them.This is okay for someone who has little space to work in and who doesn't want to have a bunch of hand weights. The bands are good quality, but they only worked for me if I wrapped them completely around all 3 hooks. I've read from others that the bar doesn't stay in one piece and could be a hazard if it disassembles during a workout. It seems more impressive at first glance with all the accessories you get, but it just didn't replace free weights for me.

Acheté car le concept complète bien l'utilisation des élastiques et permet de réaliser des mouvement supplémentaires.Une étoile car la qualité fabrication du produit est de très basse qualité. La plaque avec les anneaux est en plastique, se deforme des l'utilisation d'un seul élastique de chaque côté. On sent clairement que la plaque va céder si l'ont rajoute de la tension.Et si c'était que sa... la barre se demonte en deux partie avec une vis. Celle-ci a cedé, cassé net au niveau de la vis dès la première série de squate avec seulement deux élastiques.Dans le kit, seul les élastiques et les poignées/sangles sont utilisables pour faire du sport. On se pose donc la question du prix exorbitant 100€ pour 4 élastiques et 4 sangles.Globalement ce kit n'est pas utilisable et represente une total perte s'argent.A ne pas acheter, passez votre chemins.
