I was looking for a light sturdy tripod preferably with no centre column so as to allow it t go low as well. This tripod was perfect, but was heavier and larger than anticipated. Not something I would want to carry around all day. It is though, very sturdy having no centre column and a good height too, I'm only 5' 8" and it was much taller than I need, it is probably ideal for a bulkier camera and lens, mine's only an Olympus OM-D E-M1 which has relatively small lenses compared to other systems. I've actually returned it for the above reasons, but I would recommend it it as a very sturdy tripod, good quality, good height and an amazing price for what you get. Having the bowl also allows levelling perfectly for panoramas. If you happy to carry a bulkier kit, and a lot of people don't mind, then it's perfect,

Only used a couple of times and not yet in any harsh conditions. The tripod feels really strong and is much lighter than my vanguard. I am 5’10 and fully extended it is above my head with camera on. Leg release clamps work really well, I checked all screws when received to check tightness and were fine. The only minor criticism is the 65mm bowl and clamp. Whilst it is well made from metal it is a bit fiddly to ensure perfectly level for pano’s and the knob/clamp is not the easiest to tighten, rubber to help grip would be beneficial.Overall superb tripod at great price point. I will be using for landscape and some macro, happy to carry this round with rest of kit. Fits on my new manfrotto pro light multi loader backpack really well

Ive always been a manfrotto stalwart since the early 200s ..Im an ex wedding photographer of 12 years but ive got back into Wildlife photography as im lucensed by the government in the Uk to photograoh , disturb and monitor birds of prey .The old Aluminium tripods were getting a bit heavy and thd travel style tripods werent man enough to handle big lenses Im not talking pro grade 5 and 6 hundreds but J use a canon ef 309f2.8l usm and a Sigma 150-600 Sport .alit of the desired tripods were well out of my reach at 500- 1000 until i came across this ..Rigid big tubed carbon tripod which worked well with my big Manfrotto fluid video head ..Light stronfg well built and comes with foot spikes bag etc ..Superb piece of kit for sub-200 pounds . Easy to use . Sturdy snap locks and great height .whoever designed and built this had full time pros in mind Cant wait for the new peregrine season .@waleswildscape

Very strong but too heavy to be described as portable. Ok for studio use

Quick and good tight grip extending legs hold firm, well built. Only problem I found is to level the head for panoramic it’s guess work, a level plate to go below the head is needed.Rises up high roughly around 6ft with ball head and camera so brilliant although can be difficult for travel as it’s bulky

Having looked at loads of tripods, decided to take a gamble on this. At just over £200, it was about half the price of the next cheapest carbon fibre tripod of a similar size.Since receiving I’ve been extremely impressed. Comes with optional bowl head, allowing quick and easy levelling- and the wide base makes it extremely sturdy.Comes with feet spikes which can be easily screwed in when required. Most tripods 2 or 3 times as expensive as this still require you to buy the spikes separately, so it’s a nice addition to get them included.Legs are thick and sturdy, and the whole thing just feels high quality. Coming from an old manfrotto tripod and the difference is night and day.Don’t hesitate to buy if in the market for a high quality heavy duty tripod- excellent value for money.

I am willing to upgrade rating if Amazon or seller gets back to me. Legs are light and steady, nice. But issue is, the diameter of bowl is only 55mm, not 65mm as advertised and not wide enough to get a tight grip on Manfrotto 502 fluid head.

Not been out to use fully yet but initial thoughts are wow. Great tripod. Taller extended than my old tripod even without a center column, shorter folded with the head on than old one with no head. Saved nearly a kilo in weight so carrying so much less of a pain. Comes with a case, not really my thing but will be great to store it in rather than jus chuck it loose in the car. Phone adapter might seem a bit of a gimmick but I actually use my phone with both the old TriggerTrap adapter and a Star Tracker and this will be a godsend.

Ho acquistato queste gambe mentre cercavo una soluzione diversa dal classico cavalletto Manfrotto standard.Le ho accoppiate con una testa fluida Professionale, con base piatta. Grazie alla semi-sfera del cavalletto sono riuscito comunque ad avere la possibilità di bilanciare la testa senza dover agire sempre sulla lunghezza delle gambe, il che velocizza tantissimo i processi sul set, e rende queste gambe ottime per chi non vuole comprarsi un cavalletto con l'alloggiamento per la testa a sfera!L'unica pecca, se vogliamo sottolinearla, è che la sacca con cui arrivano le gambe è ovviamente troppo piccola per permettere poi l'inserimento del cavalletto con testa montata; ma non è un vero problema dato che è abbastanza ovvio che sia così, comprando delle gambe stand-alone.Consigliatissimo!

Gestern wurde dieses Stativ geliefert. Schon beim Auspacken war ich begeistert. Alles so wie es ein soll, vor allem stabil und dank der Bowl auch sehr einfach auszurichten. Einen separaten Kugelkopf brauche ich jetzt nicht mehr. Und die Größe ist für mich mit 195 cm auch völlig ausreichend, endlich keine Rückenprobleme mehr. Ein erster Test zeigte mir die Stabilität, nichts konnte das Stativ erschüttern, auch kein Wind, so sollte es sein!

Con la estructura que tiene, al poderlo montar hasta 1,61 m sin columna central, da mucha seguridad en cuanto a solidez y estabilidad. La sensación es que es un producto de calidad, lo he probado durante un fin de semana y ha ido perfecto.Lógicamente, con el tamaño y estructura que tiene, resulta un poco pesado para largos recorridos

Ottima stabilità. Piccolo da chiuso, altissimo alla massima estensione. La coppa da 65 mm non fa rimpiangere quella più grande (75mm), offre un grande margine di regolazione della bolla senza dover agire sulle gambe. L'unica perplessità riguarda le chiusure delle gambe con la leva in plastica... Vedremo nel tempo quanto dureranno. Comunque ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sembra un cavalletto molto più costoso
