Obsoleto and unsupported fan
Does not work as a wifi fan at all. Amazon really screwed me on this one

I want to love this fan.
My only real complain with this fan is that there is a 16khz hum. This hum shows up on other models that use the same motor but I've also heard it coming from the control module in the base. I've also an earlier fan with an earlier model of their high efficiency DC motors and while you can hear a similar whine/hum it is very quiet and I didn't realize it until this came up.The company themselves are very easy to work with in getting replacement parts so there's no fault there, but I haven't bothered yet with testing a different control module.This fan is wifi compatible and works simply just like any other IoT device. The app itself is pretty old but it works and isn't buggy, but you will be using this fan with the included remote or an assistant either way.Easy to install. i've installed 4 Emerson fans at this point and they all mount the same way. A strong metal base attaches to your ceiling mount (YOU NEED A METAL FAN MOUNT) and after you assemble the fan on the ground, you can just hang it in the mount via the ball at the end of the rod. This makes installation very easy and I like it.Looks wise? This is great and the packaging is always superb from Emerson. There's nothing I don't like about these fans other than that 16khz whine/hum. Which is usually quiet btw, you can forget about and get used to it just like any other operating sound but it just seems like it shouldn't be there.
