Arrived quickly and packaged effectivelyWe ordered this kit to do activities with the kid’s in the school holidays. (Brought the T-shirt’s separately)First time tie dying so was abit apprehensive, but the kits is great and the instructions explain step-by-step. There are a lot of colours within the set and therefore can create different patterns/styles.The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own tie-dye T-shirts.The set comes with a protective sheet, lots of different Colours and rubber bands so a quite a few can create at the same time.We have over 3/4 of the the colours left so can easily make lots of other Tie-dye products.Great activity for children and adults!Look fab once dryOnce washed they do look great!

Bought for something to do in the summer holidays and to make use of some mud stained PE T-shirt’s of my sons.Was a great activity. Helping with reading skills finding the correct bottles and powder. And then making different designs and picking colours. My son was super proud of all the designs he created. Definitely worth the money. Managed to tie dye 4 kids tops and two adult tops and have some dye left over. Will hopefully be able to buy some more dye powders to remake the colours to use again

For the price I was definitely surprised by the strength of the resulting colours.The kit has dye in sachets which need to be put in the correct bottle (they're labelled) and mixed with water. Make sure both the nozzle and cap are tightly shut before shaking to mix!!Fixative is in the dye powder so no extra chemicals are needed. There's a decent number of strong elastic bands, gloves and a table cover. The instruction leaflet is in several languages so only two pages per language, but it has enough info to get you started.I used supermarket kid's tees to practice on and prewashed before dyeing. It says to put the dyed piece in a polybag, but I didn't have any large enough and found it easier to work on cling film and wrap each piece as I went, which helped minimise dye transfer and they could all be left in a crate for the 8hrs they were curing.When rinsing, I'd recommend you hand rinse and then do a rinse cycle in a machine for thoroughness. The vibrancy faded a little but not as much as I expected.I'd definitely recommend this kit as one to experiment with before buying the really expensive dyes. If crafting with the children, I think it's best for adults to do the dye mixing. I'm not sure how long the remaining dye will be good for: I plan to use the rest within a week. The bottles can be rinsed and reused another time.I used about half the pack in dyeing 8 kids tees. I'd reckon you could dye up to 400g (dry weight) of cotton fabric from one kit

My little boy loves creating things! It was easy to use. Little bit messy but that's to be expected as he's 7! He loved the result on his tshirt and now he has orders from friends and family to make them stuff!

Kit is great, overall. Managed to dye a dozen t-shirts with it and colours are vibrant. Only complaint is the colour range. Wayyyy to pink/red/purple heavy, they make up two thirds of the colours available. Also, although they're all labelled differently (magenta, dusty rose, dark purple, etc) they all become pretty much the exact same shade when the dye is made up, and are basically indistinguishable once used. Purple, red, pink? All the exact same colour when made with the same amount of dye/water. Made for a real lack of variety, as over half the available dyes are basically the same, as compared to two greens, for example. The kit is good, but the colour issue is annoying enough that I won't buy it again, will go with an alternative.
