Nice Vocabulary Builder
I am a tiger parent. I confess. We supplement all of our children’s school work with additional material. This is a good book. I buy dozens of different books through out the year, some good some bad. This is actually a pretty good one.

Good book
This is a great vocabulary book. I bought it to add a vocabulary lesson to our homeschool curriculum. Lots of different ways in each lesson to practice the new words. We really like the 5 questions to ask a friend or family member feature, that’s fun and a good way to get my son some communication practice… just wish that feature was on every lesson. Overall a good addition to our schedule this year.

Great tool for parents
I got this for my 6th grader going into 7th grade next year.I love the third multiple lessons for the same words. I plan to use them as spelling words. Also, incorporate into writing prompts.I noticed my son is a bit behind in ELA. He's going to be in advanced math next year. Hopefully this will give him a boost to feel more confident in ELA.

Great vocabulary workbook, especially for homeschool.
As a homeschool mom and teacher, I actually enjoyed this book. It was simply and effective, not overly exaggerated or difficult to understand. I just bought it to help my young teen brush up on vocabulary and meanings. We do vocabulary words weekly and this book is a great study guide to pull from.I highly recommend. If they use it daily it may last you a month or so.

Helpful
I have my son who is 12 do a vocabulary lesson a day. It is comprehensive. I do feel like it became mundane. Not sure how many vocab words he will actually use. The expose to the words was good and the conversations that came out of explaining certain words was meaningful.
