This couple is awesome. Killian is a big, gruff, deadly PI and Gus is a brainy, hilarious student at MIT. They meet when Gus is about to move in with her sort of boyfriend only to discover another woman in the apartment. Killian offers Gus his apartment and asks her to dog sit while he is away with work for 3 weeks.

A very fun read. I was rooting for Killian and Gus all the way. Very happy, fun read. Loved it and now I gotta see if there are any more.My only niggle was the way the author had Lilian talking and the spelling of fooking really threw me. Know a few Irish and Scottish people and that just rang false.

Gus and Nox are my favourites always!!! This is totally my go to read I just love gus’s fire and attitude and pettiness!

This series was so good. What a great story with really likeable characters and another chance to briefly catchup with the guys from the 1st 2 books.

Wow. Alpha male and entertaining female lead and tattoos! Yep this was a well written love story that leaves you envious!!

I loved the characters and the storyline, it was an easy read. I thought there were too many detailed sex scenrs, but the real reason it only has 3 stars is because of 'fook' I am all for using accent and dialect but found it annoying to read when no other words ( aye being the exception ) were written in an accent. Fook was written so many times I was beginning to skim read by the end.

This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series. This is a well written flawless story which has emotions, humour, witty banter, and love which all leads to a poignant and entertaining page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

For me it started off really good I loved how Gus wasn't a walk over and she put Blake in his place and I loved the start of the relationship between Gus and Killian. I just felt towards the end it got really boring. I loved how there relationship developed nice and slow it was just nothing actually happened in the book there was no danger no angst even though there was plenty of opportunities to do so. It was just a book about two people getting to know each other slowly so for me in the end it got extremely boring.

This was definitely a good read. The storyline and characters were spot on. It was definitely a plus with this series. Are there others?

I adore Layla Frost’s writing style, and I’ve been “saving” this book for a while. I’m glad I picked it up when I did! As is typical with this series, the hero and heroine have an adorable and hilarious meet cute. The author perfectly mixes humour into her captivating writing style. The book is simultaneously light with some depth to it. I adored both Gus and Killian!5 stars

Enjoyed every page. Fast paced and fun. Steamy but that’s what these stories have. It’s life. Loved Nox and Gus. Both feisty in their own way. I liked the connection to other characters. Great story.

I swear I can't put these stories down😘 They get better and better She's a talented and amazing writer! and if it wasn't for ARR, I would have probably not have discovered her storytelling😥 I am so glad I did!

There isn’t enough space and words for me to explain how much I truly enjoyed this book.From Gus, with her crazy, hilarious personality, to Nox, and his gruff, alpha personality.The story made you root for Nox to get his happy ever after. He had seen Gus months before she noticed him, and he knew she was his Boom.You know what the Mason boys say. You can’t outrun the Boom.
