Funny and controversial, as usual
Michael Glickman has done what many would have thought either impossible or pointless - he has written a book on crop circles that contains no photographs, only faint watermark-like designs that form the backdrop on virtually every page. That fact alone might make this book unique in the world of crop circle literature. The book is essentially a journal of Glickman's musings on various aspects of the crop circle phenomenon over a period of about ten years. Some of the passages are hilarious, some are whimsical imaginings of non-existent scenarios, some are explanations of aspects of circle design and form, and - Glickman being Glickman - some are polemical and controversial. Some, indeed, are all of the above. But humor, I think, is the defining mood and defining mode, and that is why I like this man, a man whose sometimes irascible temperament has alienated him from many in the "crop circle community". Glickman may be the Yosemite Sam of crop circle researchers, but he is also the George Carlin or the Jay Leno or the Steve Allen. If Glickman often lashes out at others, he also has an above-average capability for self-analysis and self-reflection - he can make fun of himself, and does so many times in this book.So don't buy this book if you are looking for glossy photos of crop circles - there are none. And do not look for elaborate theories linking the circles to UFOs or the Pleiades or Mayan prophecy - there is a little bit of that sort of thing, but nothing systematic. Buy this if you want a glimpse into the mind and world of one of the most controversial characters on the crop circle scene. You will, I think, be entertained.

Michael Glickman gets a 10+ for wit and brilliance
Michael Glickman gets a 10+ for wit, brilliance and appreciation for all things unexplainable and inexplicable in our multi-dimensional universe. I am looking forward to a chance to actually experience a crop circle for myself. I recommend for those willing to venture out of our comfortable yet outdated beliefs about the universe and see what you can discover without being afraid to go 'one step beyond'

Chronicle of crop circle events
The book is a short annotations book from a great researcher, some very good insights on crop circle events and some behind the scenes situations, the book is too short though.

Two Stars
Dated ramblings. Only interesting if you know little of crop circle history.

About the reality of crop circles
It is rare to have a first hand expert, with such a keen sense of humor talk to us about the reality of crop circles. The book came on time and good shape. I went through it in an evening with complete satisfaction.
