Save your money on name brand running shorts. These shorts are outstanding and a great value. I am 5’8” and 140lbs and the small size and length were just right. The liner provides good support. Pockets are nice. I keep my iPhone in a waist pack and don’t use the pockets. Highly recommended.

These are the ones, stop scrolling. I am a 36 in waist and I ordered one pair of Medium just to try them. They have plenty of room in the waist. The compression shorts fit snug, but not too snug, as intended. I have the biggest Iphone and it fits securely in the pocket. The material is lightweight, which is a bonus. I am going to order a couple more pair right now!

I have these in two other colors, and they have been great for running, the gym, and lounging around. The phone pocket, small zippered back pocket, and 5-inch length are perfect (I'm 6 ft, 175 lbs). I docked a star because the seams on these had many loose threads and loose hems, unlike the other two pairs that were crafted very well. These are excellent for the price, and the elastic waistband fits very well, with room to expand or tighten as needed with the drawstring.

They don't feel comfortable to me and there's something I dislike about the look once they're on. To be more specific, the crotch sits really low. The shorts are listed as 5 inches, but the inseam length from the crotch is only 2 inches, so when you walk or spread your legs during stretches or workouts they ride way up. I also dislike the look where the inner compression shorts are longer than the outer shorts, because to me it looks like if you chose to wear long underwear with short shorts and that's just an odd look to me. For contrast I have another brand of shorts that I won't mention by brand here, but the inner compression shorts are about the same length as the outer shorts and only really show a little in some circumstances and better yet even though they're also listed as the same 5 inch length of short as these, the crotch is actually 5 inches from the inseam which give a much better fit during movement which is kind of the point with a pair of workout shorts. Lastly, the fabric these are made out of makes a constant swishing sound when you walk which drives me a bit crazy. Maybe that would soften up after a few washes, but I'm not keeping these long enough to find that out. Okay, to be fair and not all negative I do have some positive feedback as well. I do like the wide variety of colors which is why I was looking at these over my other brand which currently only offers black. I do also like the back zipper pocket which makes it easy to put your ID, keys and such without loosing them or having to set them down when you're at the gym. I think that the overall quality of the materials and stitching is good as well. I would say that if you don't mind the low crotch and the longer compression shorts, then these might be good for you, but for me I'm not a fan. I think I'll just be sticking with all black from the other brand I like.

Husband has worn these on about 100+ runs since i purchased them for him. Washed just as many times and still holding up flawlessly today. Don't waste your money on the name brands, these will do the job just the same. If not better!

I ordered these shorts and the quality and fit were exactly what I expected. Same as shopping at sports check. 180 pounds and purchased a small. I had another manufacturer style and the black part fit too lose. They are perfect, will buy more.

I love these workout shorts. Extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. The side pockets are generous, the hidden pocket is large enough to hold a cell phone snugly and the zippered pocket in the back works great for a key fob, credit card or room key.
