Timer knob 1/4 shaft with flat 1.5" diameter 7/8" tall

The timer knob on my Colby Pants Presser broke and after much research found this knob as a great replacement

This knob is for a 6mm shaft and does not fit on a 1/4 inch shaft as described. No option provided to return it. Money lost.. Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades...

I used this on an old oven where the knobs had broken, the manufacturer no longer carried replacements and a guy on eBay wanted $150 for replacement. Frankly, these look better than the originals.

Lasted 6 months. The one before 3 years. The original lasted 11 years. It's obvious these are so old that the plastic is disintegrating. Only reason for the 3 stars is it's the only replacement knob available.
