Plastic Welder Repair Machine Kit, 5-Level Adjustable Power, Bumper Plastic Repair Welding Hot Stapler Kit with Storage Tool Box, 110V

I have been very happy with it so far. I settled on this unit after watching a review from a popular YouTuber. My finished work has been effective; though, it's not always the prettiest work. I"ll update my review if it fails me for some reason, but for now, I am happy with my purchase. It is a little pricey, but it is flexible with temperature control. It heats up quickly enough, and it stays hot through the weld. There are different shapes and sizes of staples included, so there is enough of these to get started, but I was also able to use screen mesh and other metal pieces to make make repairs. Again, very flexible. I purchased additional plastic rods for melting over the included staples, as well as filling in gaps. This makes things a little more finished looking, and, importantly, it covers the little raised pieces of metal left after cutting the staple legs.

Bought this as gift for my dad and he used it on my car and his gator and a few of his trucks, and so far no complaints

I have done many repairs with this unit since I got it. From dashboards to mower hoods to repairing plastic gas caps. I have installed hundreds of staples/clips so far. PROS EASY to use NICE case GOOD assortment of clips GOOD quality of everything. Very well built CONS Cut off end fly and leave behind a very sharp point. Bending breaks them off without the point but is time consuming A LITTLE like threading a needle, not for production work HOLES in handle at 45 deg for clips not drilled the same, one at 45 other at 90. Makes it hard for clips to stay in. It's hard to find cons. For the money this thing is the bomb! If it died tomorrow I would buy another the same day. I've tried other plastic welders and nothing compares to this. It fuses the plastic together and reinforces it with the wire to help keep it together. PERFECT. TIP, if at all possible do the repair from the back side. It does give the effect of stitched in appearance. Overall I give this plastic welder 5 STARS. The many positives way out weigh the few negatives.

This is an awesome tool! Sad I waited so long to buy one works extremely well. Would recommend some kind of small 1/2” or smaller spatula type tool to smooth/ lock down the plastic before it hardens. Also heats up very quick hardly any waiting.

This hot stapler is identical to the other one with several reviews. The only difference is that this hot stapler includes 800 staples while the other one includes only 600 staples. I used this item to repair a BMW bumper cover and it worked well. The unit has adjustable temperature settings with a low profile gun to get into tight spaces. There was a good assortment of staples. The staples were slightly difficult to align in the gun because of the small holes but I will get better at this procedure over time. The staples heated very quickly when the trigger was pressed and easily sunk into the plastic. Don't forget to give each staple a twist at the end to ensure it is properly embedded. I am very satisfied with my purchase although I deduct 1-star because the manufacturer contact information is not listed in the instruction booklet for warranty or support. By the way, the instruction booklet is also identical to the one (no manufacturer contact) included with the other unit sold on Amazon that I originally purchased and returned.

The heat adjustment settings are a plus. Did a nice job repairing cracked interior trim on my 25 year old van. Storage box is ideal for keeping everything in one place. Did my homework reading reviews on various brands. Decided on this product and am very satisfied with the purchase.

Incredible product. Stapler : Very well built , feels quality, bright and controllable display. Heats crazy hot I’m seconds on the highest setting. I’ve use other staplers and payed more for worse for units. Tool box : is simple and cheep not a big concern to me , I care more about the tool and they nailed it Accessories: comes with a TON of different types on staples , I won’t even go through them in five years lol . Snips are ok , not really the right ones for cutting staples in my experience. It’s best to use pig hoof style plier snips to cut them as you can get it in more places and cut it closer. These are more like tile snips Over all : a great purchase, would give it 10/10 for me and I’ve been doing body work now professional for 12 years

I love the idea of reinforcing with steel plastic welder joints and this thing makes it so easy to melt in a reinforcement to any kind of joint you are plastic welding together, it heats up very quickly and works amazingly well!!

This worked perfect to repair a 8 inch crack in the fender of an ATV. Melted clips in about every inch or so then used the blade to smooth it out. Followed that up by using an old fender as a plastic donor and used the blade to melt a layer of plastic over the repair area. All done on the underside. The crack is barely perceptible on the top side and is tough. I was wondering how the blade would work with this kit. Wondering if I would have to buy a plastic welder as well. It works well. No need for anything more for this type of repair. Should have bought one of these years ago. I am done with drilling a bunch of holes and lacing with ss wire. This is way quicker and much more stable.

The stapler is uper easy to use, effective at stapling 30+ year old car interior parts together. I got strong bonds that have not broken since. I'm not in love with the tip for melting the plastic, it's just a large flat blade that seems hard to get to temperature. And it isn't the best shape for getting into spots that arent completely flat. It could just be me, as I've never used anything like this before. Be cautious of your temperature settings while stapling. Too hot and you get flames.....
