I’m used Royal Locks Curl Care to style my hair today. I was looking for a quick way to add more volume to my hair and really show off my curls. The Party Curl activating and defining spray smells great and isn’t overpowering. The bottle sprays a fine mist that covers your hair. It doesn’t soak it. It’s easy to scrunch into your hair. My hands weren’t sticky afterwards like after I used other brands. I’m impressed with the results. It doubled my curls and gave me amazing volume. I love the natural look too.

While so many women voice how much they would love to have curly hair, they have no idea what it takes to make it "behave". I have an arsenal of products that do various things, but I'm loving this line. I used these two products today and my hair is in perfect curls, shiny, and looks beautiful. No frizz, no pouf that makes me look like I just rolled out of bed, just beautiful ringlets. It may seem on the expensive side, but it takes such a small amount of product to achieve the perfect look, it's worth it. Gina, who runs the company is very sweet and does a great job of making sure her customers are happy. It's not some large company that doesn't care, I appreciate the pride she takes in her company and her concern for our satisfaction. I did have an issue with both of the bottles leaking, but with the hot weather, I am letting that go.

This is a good product that does what it promises. It smells good, helped define my curls, and offered thermal protection (I think). My only complaint is that the bottle is pretty small for the price. But if the cost/quantity ratio doesn't throw you off, you won't be disappointed with the purchase.

Looking to give my natural waves a little extra support and encouragement, I tried the Royal Locks Curl Care Dream Cream and Party Curl Spray. Immediately, I started getting compliments from friends (and strangers, too!) that I was having a really good hair day. The Dream Cream smells amazing, and it disappears easily into my wet hair, not clumping or leaving a "curl product crunch," and instead leaving my hair feeling soft. The second day is even better - the waves loosen up *and* keep their bounce. By the third day, it's time to use the Party Curl spray to give them a little extra boost... but to be honest, the Party Curl spray is such a perfect size - it lives in my purse. I recently brought it on a work trip, and it revived my curls after both the airplane flight and after a day out in the wind. I didn't know what to expect, and I never write reviews, but this is worth recommending and spreading the news!

I bought this brands shampoo, conditioner, and this curl activating spray. The sample size spray smelled amazing and left my hair so soft and frizz free. This bottle of spray is NOT the same. The smell is different - it smells like hair spray. It also leaves my hair somewhat stiff and bunched together... very similar to hair spray too. The opposite of soft!It is not the same stuff, at all!! So disappointed!!! Buyer beware!

Love this product! It is lightweight and helps my hair to resist frizz. It smells amazing and is now my "can't live without" product. Definitely recommend it to anyone - not just the wild haired women of the world.I have to revise my review. I wrote the above for a small sampler bottle I got from Royal Locks. The smell was amazing and it left my hair so soft and shiny. I immediately loved the product so much I ordered a larger bottle. The bigger bottle is NOT THE SAME as the smaller one. It smells different, does not work the same, and left my hair dry and frizzy again. The ingredients are not the same. The original one says "Made In China" and shipped out of Canada. The second one says "Made in USA" and shipped out of somewhere in the USA. It's OK, but not something I would order again.

I have used this product for a couple of weeks and am thrilled with it. My hair is thick, is about an inch below my ears, is what I would call medium curly and has some layering. When I first received the bottle, I was surprised that it did not have any instructions as to use. But, I very shortly received a wonderful email from the owner of Royal Locks describing the product and it's use. Although several people use it on wet hair and are very happy with it, it was designed to be used on dry hair. For me, it works infinitely better when my hair is dry. To make my hair look even halfway decent, I have to wash it every day and then run wet fingers through it several times a day. Or, I did up until a couple of weeks ago. Using this spray (a little under the layers and a little on top) and scrunching the curls gives me that soft definition I've been trying to achieve. And, it adds shine. Pillows are not kind to my hair. Every morning, I get up looking like an escapee on the run from an asylum three counties away. I thought I'd give this spray a try before throwing my head under the sink and beginning my day of washing windows. A few light spritzes here and there and ... oh, my goodness ... I looked all shiny and new! So, am I happy with it? Yes, I am! I don't find it sticky, but I don't use a ton of it. The scent is a bit overpowering when spraying it, but I can deal with that because I like it so much. The overpowering scent is gone in minutes. I expect this bottle will last me awhile, but I will definitely be ordering more before it's gone.
