Seems to work better than saline solution alone.
This has the Xylitol in addition to the regular saline salts. Xylitol makes the solution sweet instead of salty. Xylitol reduces the water surface tension. It does seem to be better than regular salts alone although this is more expensive.

Better than original
I recently had sinus surgery and was having some dryness in my nose. I read about Xylitol being more moisturizing than regular saline so I decided to try this and I’m glad I did! My nose feels cleaner and less dry than when I was using the plain saline. I do wish that the packets were more narrow so that the contents don’t spill as easily when pouring into the bottle.

I have used an neti pot for many years, this is far more effective
My ENT doctor asked me how I was dealing with nasal congestion during the allergy season. When I told him a Neti Pot and saline, He said this method (squeeze bottle) was more effective getting to all parts of the sinuses. Xylitol helps eliminate bacteria. I have been using this for about 3 months and the results are amazing.

Crystals dissolve very slow and are much larger.
It works maybe a little better than the regular salt packets that are a quarter of the size and dissolve easily. Why can’t these crystals come smaller in size and dissolve just the same? It would improve the product significantly.

Neilmed rinse packets with Xylitol and a bottle. Excellent! Many times an ENT physician will order this product but you cannot find it in the pharmacy. It is very soothing and flushes my sinuses easily. Thank you!
