This went together easily. We opted for 4 x 6 Amp Hour batteries as a septette purchase, likewise the charger. We were very pleased with both the quality of the cut and how long the batteries ran for. Long grass needs the machine to be set to “highest” setting, then re-cut the area at lower heights. Bravo, Makita!

Superb Lawnmower, I was looking at cheaper ones but decided to go for this Makita lawnmower and it’s amazing. Can cut the whole garden and use same batteries for strimmer.

Easy to assemble, light as a feather to manoeuvre around shrubs and beds. I thought about getting a self-propelling mower, but glad we didn't now. Works really well with Quper 5amp batteries.

I purchased this machine to replace an old electric mower that had finally died after years of service. Reading the reviews this morning has made me a little confused. The first two state that the listing do not mention the mower does not come with batteries or charger. However this is clearly mentioned in the second line of the listing. so to be clear it does not come with batteries or charger. This is aimed at people who have already bought into the Makita system.The item is easy to assemble. Come well packaged.I have a lawn about 30 feet by 30 feet the charge from two 30Ah batteries is more than enough to cut this in one charge. The best feature about this mower is the cutting height adjustment. It is done with one lever mounted on the top of the cutting deck.I have had the mower for a few weeks now and I think it is a very good purchase.

Easy to put together, proper 'strong' plastics that seem like they will outlast me. But, the blade supplied is as blunt as my mother in law. I took itto my local hardware store to put a keen edge on it. In operation, excellent, 2x5ah batteries will get you through a modest 40x40ft garden no trouble, with plenty of time to spare. Nice not to have to deal with cables and extension leads.

Lawnmower macho men will sneer at these but for our third of an acre of grass it is more than up to the job, with plenty of battery left over at the end of a cut even using modest 3 Amp batteries. The blade is powerful and sharp, the height adjustment superb, the experience quiet, and the whole thing weighs 40lbs, so it is easy to carry up and down steps to different levels of lawn, whereas the same manoeuvre with our old petrol mower was a grunty two person job. Very good value too if you already have the batteries and charger from other Makita tools. Another Makita 5 stars

The product is of very high quality, you can see this as soon as you open the box. It runs very powerfully and is flexible for grass cutting heights. Uses the same batteries, only use proper Makita batteries.Great product and you know the best thing...???? NO LEADS! Yeeeeeaaaaa

Easy to use & light so easy to push ,Cuts well but if too low the motor will struggle and Labour the motor ,fine if you lift it up abit and don’t want really short grass!

All my tools are Makita ..... their latest batteries are 5.0amp.hr. which give this Mower lots of power and lots of endurance (I can do my whole lawn without changing batteries). The grass catcher is perfectly balanced and the right size for easy handling and quick 'pit stops'. Super lightweight for effortless pushing.

J’ai décider de passer du thermique à l’électrique, pour des questions pratiquent et ayant pas mal d’outils Makita j’ai acheter cette tondeuse.Les plus:Tondeuse légère, vous cliper 2 batterie de 18v et c’est partie, pas d’essence pas d’entretien.Puissance du moteur satisfaisant je l’ai essayé sur plusieurs terrain avec des environnement différent.A savoir que sur un terrain d’environ 1000m2 il vous faudra l’équivalent de 6 à 8 batteries pour faire propre et seulement si vous passer la tondeuse régulièrement.Sur un terrain de 1400m2 mal entretenu il m’a fallu l’équivalent de 16 batteries pour faire le terrain propre.Les batteries dispose d’un niveau de charge lorsqu’elles atteignent 2/4 vous avez perdu les 3 quarts de la puissance de la tondeuse… c’est pour cela qu’il vous faudra pas mal de batterie.De plus la lame envoie la tonte dans le panier de réception et à puissance réduites elle le fera mal.Sinon cette tondeuse passe partout très maniable attention elle n’est pas auto-tracter.Puis le moins c’est le panier de réception qui vous ferez arrêter pour le vider assez régulièrement.Voila j’espère que ce commentaire vous aidera pour l’achat.

La verdad que está máquina es ideal, pesa muy poco, tengo un jardín de 350m2 y las 2 baterias no se consumen ni a la mitad, se pliega de forma sencilla y se puede guardar de manera ágil y rápida, recomendable.
