Perfect Replacement
I went to my local locksmith he programed it for 50 bucks. Does what it suppose to just the few minutes they take to program the key and charge that much is over priced. However I'm sure it's a ton more at the Ford dealership.

Was not compatible with my Ford edge.
I don't have remote start. Love the keys. Better than dealership keys, and cost less.

No sirve
Tengo una Ford Explorer 2015 XLT, se supone que es compatible.Pero no es así, gasté el dinero ya que no puedo devolverla. Vivo en RD.

Not completely compatible
Although described as a key that fits my car year and model, comes without step by step instructions as listed. You must chat with the store you purchased the keys from, and they give you a link where you can download the instructions from. Besides I have programed the remote for my car, but I can't open the trunk with that.

Works great for my 2013 Ford Taurus! Had almost a year and still works fabulously!
It was going to be $300+ to get a key from the dealer. So I ordered 2 of these keys and I got my key cut at Walmart. You do have to get the first key programmed at the dealership if you don't have the 'Admin Key' which I had to do and it was pricey. I looked up the programming instructions for the second key. Had the keys for almost a year now and have had 0 problems. All the buttons work, even the auto start and it cranks the car fine. The pictures on the buttons do wear but I think that's with any key. Works great!

Better than the previous one.
I had ordered one from another seller, and it lasted about a year before the buttons quit working. This one just feels more substantial. Plus, I got the 3 year protection plan for like $4 in case it does crap out.

Does not work as indicated
2014 Ford Explorer XLTThe key will start the engine, however the feature buttons do not work.I have performed all troubleshooting steps, including those noted by the product insert site, Ford site and other various internet sites.Otherwise, the product build/durability seems quality. The battery tested strong upon delivery. The key cut without issue.

Great buy
It worked. I took the key to the Ford dealership and they were able to program the new key. It will cost you roughly $110-$130 for the dealership to program the key fob. It will also help if you have the key cut before hand. I have a 2013 Ford Taurus Limited.
