36 inch Island Range Hood 700 CFM Ceiling Mount Hood Stainless Steel Stove Vent Hood with Tempered Glass, Push Button Controls, Mesh Filters

I bought this range hood a couple of months ago and just installed it. So I cannot say too much about the longevity of this product. But what I can talk about is the customer service I received when the original hood I installed had a problem. Customer Service: *** The seller Tieasy always responded to my messages very quickly *** After I contacted the seller through the Amazon order link, Tieasy Customer Service immediately responded. After sending them a video and description about what the problem was, Tieasy Support Team determined the possible cause of the problem quickly and gave me the option of a full refund or sending me a new replacement unit. Since all openings on the wall and cabinet were already made, I chose to get a replacement. Just installed the new unit a few days ago. It works like a charm. Pro: 1. I really like the appearance of this range hood. It is elegant and uniquely shaped which directs cooking fume to the exhaust opening very effecient. 2. On the highest of the 3 CFM settings, it moves a lot of air. You can feel it. 3. The noise level on the highest CFM setting is not bad at all. I haven't done any noise measurement, but I can say it is much quieter than two of my previous exhaust hoods. It doesn't bother me at all. *** I believe the 7-inch diameter exhaust duct helps a great deal with CFM and noise reduction. *** Con: The 7-inch exhaust duct and vent cover are not as easy to find. I bought a 8ft 7-inch semi-regid duct at the local home store L*wes (the only place I could find) and the plastic louver vent cover (7-inch) at ventmyhouse.C*M. Based on the experience of my interactions with Tieasy Customer Service, I highly recommend this seller.

These are very cool, futuristic island range hoods. In my case, we had an existing 18-year-old range hood that had stopped working and needed to be replaced. It took a contractor and a helper about three hours total to remove the old and install the new, at a labor cost of $380. It's definitely not a one-man job.

Update: I was contacted by this seller with a full refund offer. Then they change their mind and request for me to contact them by email outside the Amazon messaging system. They sent the address within a picture attachment to bypass Amazon rule. After many back and forth without addressing the main issue of the non-repairable dent and scratch. They just told me to do the exchange/return. While dragging on for days leave me little time to return. So I have to haul everything back to UPS as that is the only option for oversize item return. To other potential shoppers. Check your order right away if anything wrong returns it asap, and don't waste your time with their after sale team they will tell you they are checking with their engineer this and that and give you the run around. Bottom line think twice before ordering from this seller as it will take 2 people and a truck to move a box that won't fit in a truck to move a box that won't fit in a regular car's trunk space. I paid $329 for it and thought it was a great deal. UPDATE ^^^^ It is loud on the test run maybe better when the duct is hooked up. But I don't think I will find out. The gesture control works fine. It is better not to use touch anyway as the glass is finger print magnet. The problem I am having with this unit I received is that it is clearly a reject from QC where there are 2 locations with sharpie marking indicate there is a scratch on the metal surface. One you wouldn't see once installed because it will be on top under the cabinet. But the 2 bigger scratches are on the side toward the front portion of the machine. And they are 2 parallel scratches about 3 inch long. I don't think they are trying to hide it with the sharpie. Then it must mean they were marked during quality control. Also there is a plastic over on the top side that is bowing out, looks like it have holes for 6 screws but only 2 was used. Just check out the pictures and see for yourself. I will go e it a week hopefully the seller will contact me with a solution. Really wish this is a good deal I been looking for.

The unit is working well but...you need a professional to install this island hood. It is not necessarily the same chimney fit as your old one if replacing. If new installation doesn't matter. My carpenter had to make many adjustments and do sheet rock work to get it installed. The digital panel is not easy but with a good deal of effort you can get the clock set. The information on the distribution states the lights are dimmable. That is absolutely not true. They are not dimmable and that was very disappointing for me. The lights are bright. However the unit is functioning properly and well. But had I known the led lights were not as stated, I would have kept looking.

My product was damaged in shipping. Customer service made everything right quickly.
