CNE13933 Ultra Slim HDMI Intelligent Switcher 3x1 Supports 3D

Sure it works as a single extension cable but..... Here's a grave safety concern.... Unlike other HDMI switches or hubs that use a power pack to activate the Hub, there's a reason for that. This particular hub is cheaply built in the fact without an external power pack indicates the switching circuitry is strictly passive, changes a lead connection only! An active hub incorporates opto-isolators to isolate electronic circuit and power lead connections from each other i.e. power/current bleed over to other adjacent connections. This hub does not provide that protection thus if you have two or more for a total of three HDMI devices on the same TV through this hub, you can possibly damage your TV and those dongle devices as well. Example I have two hubs one active (Expensive price) and this one passive..this POS (less than $5). Hooking three dongles such as a Chrome, Fire Stick and Android stick to this cheap hub... all the dongles on this inactive hub become very hot to the touch!! Yes, each dongle has its own power pack... while the other active hub with the same configuration (it has four not three connections) all the dongles are as cool as a cucumber except the one activated which is warm but not hot... I NOW use the passive hub strictly as an extension cable only, filled the right and left ports with wax (I might as well get some use out it). There is no UL Safety approval on this device but it does have a CE FC logo for frequency interference, but I wonder about independent testing. Use at your own risk! You get what you pay for.... I discovered this when I was first testing this hub and was using the Fire Stick for about 2-3 minutes as the active device and watching a preview when the Fire Stick froze up and stopped working probably due to thermal run away ( It got way to hot for proper operation) and the picture went black) I then immediately felt the hub and Fire Stick dongle and d-a-r-n-e-d near got burned, all devices were very hot.....not good AT ALL!! Fortunately for me none of my dongle devices suffered a short or possibly started a fire.... thus the review of this product are strictly my opinions only....your mileage may vary...

This is a negative one star device. The first thing I noticed is the product is very poorly made out of cheap light weight plastic. (-1 star) Then I found the inputs were not very accepting of the hdmi cables. (-2 stars) Once I did get the hdmi cables in the device they did not seem to be very snug.(-3 stars). One of the inputs would not work at all (-4 stars) The device would not auto switch my xbox one, blue ray, or wii u (-5 stars). The device would not even let me switch the consoles manually (-6 stars).This thing is so terrible even Amazon did not want it back. I tried to start the return process and received an email that stated "For health and safety reasons we're unable to accept the return of Generic HDMI 3-In 1-Out HDMI Auto Switch with 1.5 feet Cable" However Amazon will provide a refund to my credit card.

This product is amazing! Now I can plug in 3 devices into my TV and only use one HDMI port. The devices I have (Nintendo Switch, Apple TV, and Xbox One) work really well since all I need to do is power on a device and it automatically powers on my TV and switches to the correct input. If I’m watching Netflix on the Apple TV and then turn on my Nintendo Switch, this device automatically switches the input from the Apple TV and to the Nintendo Switch. Once I turn off the Switch, and the Apple TV is still on, it auto switches back to the Apple TV. Different devices may vary in behavior though. The Xbox One, for example, behaves a bit differently. If the Apple TV is on, and then I turn on the Xbox, the input will switch to the XBox, but once I turn off the Xbox, the input does not auto switch back to the Apple TV. So just keep in mind that different devices may vary in behavior, but even if the input doesn’t auto switch, it’s easy to walk up to the device and press the button to switch the input manually. I highly recommend this product if you have too many devices, and not enough hdmi ports.

I ordered this originally to switch between an XBox360 and a Blu-ray player for our living room TV which only has one HDMI output.It works well in the fact that it does allow me to have the 360, the Blu-ray, and now an Amazon Firestick all hooked up at once, and has the ability to switch between all 3 at the push of a button. I was very pleased with this at first.Unfortunately I have started to notice that it causes whatever is playing to flicker from time to time like the connection isn't quite completely hooked up. This has begun to occur more frequently; and sometimes it switches from one HDMI input to another on its own. (Like while on the Xbox it will switch over to the Blu-ray without any prompting or warning, even when Blu-ray is turned off). But this is easily remedied by switching back to the preferred device, or switching the input to the TV from HDMI to auxiliary and back again.Although I have had a couple hiccups with my cable this is not a terrible product whatsoever, especially considering that I paid $6.38 and it arrived quickly.

It works almost automatic, it switches itself to the recently switched ON source, which even a TV or audio system having multiple HDMI is not able to.Well some gadgets like TataSky settop box keep the HDMI out alive even after switching off the box, which leaves the HDMI out powered on with not signal.In this case this device doesn't switch to the next device automatically (but if you power off the set top box from the mains then the auto switchover happens)

It's been working just fine so far. I suspect flickering and not switching issues mentioned in other reviews have something to do with device compatibility. I am using it only for 2 devices - the Amazon Fire Stick and the Cubetek media player. Both these and my TV are connected to a single surge protector, so they all get switched on at the same time. This switcher defaults to the Cubetek Media Player. It does not switch automatically to the Fire Stick, even if I put the latter on sleep, put the media player on standby and wake up the Fire Stick. However, the auto switching always works with the media player, even from standby. I haven't faced any flickering / blank screen issues at all. Also, the picture quality from the media player is far higher through this splitter than via the HDMI cable that came with it. That was a nice bonus.The only thing I am not happy about is the price. Comparable products internationally cost nearly half this. A version on Amazon.com which supports 4k and 3D costs the equivalent of only Rs 644.

Switch works well however the automatic part only works if the power is off to all but 1 unit. So if you have Apple TV and cable and android box this cable will only work if you choose the feed. It does this very well manually. As the cable receiver and TV Box both only go into stand by power mode the switch can not choose a different feed. So if you are watching the TV (cable) and you want to go to either of the other two feeds you have to manually change it. It's not automatic if there are stand by modes. Also could use a longer HDMI out cable off the switch.

This device works only when there is atleast 2 active signals to choose between. The switch is not working when there is only one of the 3 ports active. I am not sure if this is by design or I just got a faulty piece.eg. if you have 3 devices that you need to connect to a common display, atleast 2 of them should be turned on for the switch to work and allow selection between the 2 (or 3) feeds.other wise the device works flawlessly :)

Today I received this HDMI auto switcher, when I plugged it to my HD Settop box and then I plugged my Tv to it but no indicator was showing nor its displaying the pictures on tv. I think it was defective, so I returned it to Amazon for replacement, now let's see the new should work well. If it's work fine, I will definitely post my review.

Works like a charm. Plugged in my blue ray, my htpc and Xbox one. I just turn on one device and it automatically switches to that signal. When I turn the first device off and the. Turn the next one on it auto switches to that device. No more unplugging and replugging things in. It’s awesome. Great value for your money.

It works without any issues. I wanted to connect my laptop and ps4 to the same monitor via HDMI switch and this one is definitely worth the money. I also bought the kinivo hdmi switch but it is not as small as this one and

I want to return it. No action taken by Amazon. Its usage is not helpful. Using it is leading to multiple disturbing dots appearing on the screen. Please don something Amazon. Item is faulty

Been using this since 3 months. Working as advertised by seller. Very simple to use and works flawlessly. Plastic used to case the connector is of average quality wires are good though. Led indicators look ordinary and cheap. Splitter automatically switches to recently switched on appliance.

Returned the product as it did not work

Very poor quality. If we switch on other electrical points like fan, the output of this device gets disconnected. And connects after few times. I stopped using this.

Works great. Would have been better if it had come with a remote to change its source. Keeps switching automatically to newly switched on input, which is a little irritating.

Works well, but TV flickers every few seconds.
