WallarGe Auto Set Digital Wall Clock Battery Operated, Auto DST

The absolute best medium sized wall clock on the market. Tells you everything you need to know at a glance with big LCD numbers. It's also insanely easy to set up. Comes with two kickstands on the back and a single wall hook as well. Runs on three AA batteries and has a button battery(like in a watch) for when you swap the batteries out eventually so it retains the time and your settings. The temp & humidity are very accurate to boot. I use mine in my cubicle at work and weirdly have gotten a ton of compliments...lol. They also have an atomic version(where it gets the time signal from the atomic radio tower in Ft Collins, Colorado) for about $5.00 more but that one was just a little too heavy for my cubicle walls). My only wish is that it had the light sensor, like on the more expensive version, where when it gets dark you can opt to have the LCD lit up. Great clock at a more than fair price. Good build quality as well doesn't feel or look cheap. This would be perfect in a cubicle at work, garage, student dorm room, kitchen and bedroom. Get this, you won't be disappointed!

I got this clock with the white frame because it's going to go on a wall by my bathroom counter, which is fairly light colored. i put the three AA batteries in and the clock was up and running in a split second! I'm in the eastern time zone, and since the clock is automatically set to that at the factory, I didn't even have to change that. The minute digit was about 45 seconds behind what my phone's clock said, so I advanced it to the next minute. Now the clock is about three seconds behind my phone. Definitely close enough. I didn't really need the instructions to set the clock, just to learn the general information about the clock. Included in the buttons on the back is one that switches between a 12/24 hour format if you want to do that. The digits in the time display are large and bold. I kept looking through the reviews to see if anyone actually mentioned the size of the digits. Even the product's description didn't mention it. My last atomic (this one's not atomic) digital clock's digits were 1 3/4". I thought THOSE were large. This clock's digits are 2 5/8". I based this measurement on the 3 or 8, as the 1 or 7 will be a bit shorter. Combine this larger display with bolder digits, and you can definitely see the time easily. I believe there was another reviewer who showed their clock tilted downward on the left side. I thought they said it was the fault of the battery compartment, but my clock's compartment is in the center of the clock. I don't know exactly what's inside that makes the clock heavier on the left side, but I had to do what the other reviewer did, take a command hook adhesive strip and stick it to the back of the clock and stick it to the wall to keep it level. I left that pull tab sticking out where I could release the adhesive strip when it's time to switch from daylight saving time to standard time (in about 5 weeks!) or when I have to change the battery. I have extra Command Hook strips for future time changes. I used a 2 pound capacity Command hook (one of the wire ones) to hang the clock. I weighed the clock, and it's about 13 oz, so I didn't trust my smaller half pound capacity Command hook to safely hang the clock. These digits in the time display may be a bit bold for a small bathroom, but when I glance at it from across the room in the shower, I definitely won't have to look twice to make sure I saw it right. Since I'm using this in a lit room, not a bedroom, I don't need a backlight like some other reviewers preferred. I could do without the alarms, as well. , but as long I don't accidentally set those. I'll just forget they're there. Now this is my first day with the clock, so I may come back and edit this review if things change. So far, I'm very happy with it. My other digital clock quit about a week ago, and it's been driving me crazy, looking at the spot where that clock used to be and not seeing the time. It's like forgetting to put your watch on one day and you keep looking at your bare wrist for the time. I knew I had to get another clock in that bathroom soon. I really helps me stay on track when I have to be somewhere at a specific time.

I’ve had three or four battery operated clocks in the past. This one is the absolute best!! All of the others had to be set manually by flashing dates and times and minutes, etc.. You have to read so many instructions and try to get the time to come up correctly. This one was not like that. As soon as I put the batteries in to the clock it immediately just wanted to know what time zone I was in and it set everything up within 60 seconds. It’s the correct date, the correct time and day of the week plus the temperature in my room. I didn’t have to read any manuals. I didn’t have to watch the lights flashing so I would know when to start pressing the minutes or seconds or what day it was – it did it all immediately with no reading time or fighting with it to get all the buttons set correctly. It Is the best Clock​ I ever owned in an area where I had no electrical outlet and I will never buy another brand again. Thank you!!

Don't get me wrong (based on the headline) — This is a fantastic little clock. Just be advised: there is no way to light up the screen, so it won't work that well as a bedside clock (because you won't be able to read it at night). It seemed reasonable of me to expect it to light up, though to be fair my reasoning is subjective; I bought it to replace a similar but smaller electronic clock I've used as my bedside clock for about 10 years. It, too, had an LCD screen, but the older one I was replacing had a button on top I could press to make the screen glow for about five seconds — about all you need if you just want to know in the dark what time it is. It also seems a reasonable expectation (to be able to light up the screen) because that's how most LCD watches work. Most of them don't stay lit up all the time (it would kill the battery), so LCD watches (like my old bedside LCD clock) can light up for a few seconds by pressing a button. This clock, unfortunately, does not. So this won't work for me as a replacement bedside clock. The reason I still feel this is worth 4 stars is that, in spite of that one missing feature, I really like the clock. Here's why: 1. A great price. 2. It shows the seconds, not just the minutes and hours. If you want to see the seconds ticking, you'll be hard-pressed to find an LCD battery-operated bedside clock that does this. Almost all of them show you only the hours and seconds. But the first thing I do when I wake up every morning is to do planks for a specified number of seconds or minutes. That's why I wanted to see the seconds ticking off, so I will know when 30 seconds or 60 seconds have passed. This clock does this. 3. It's big, bigger than I expected, but that means it's very readable even from several feet away. It's roughly the size of a standard Kindle book, as you can see from my photo (which also shows that I need to dust my house!). 4. It's crazy-easy to set up. My older LCD clock, like this one, had the ability to automatically identify the time and date via DST technology, but it wasn't easy and sometimes just didn't do it. This one, the very second I flipped the dial on the back to my time zone, instantly popped up the correct date and time. 5. The other reason I wanted this particular clock was because it would display the indoor temperature and humidity. I've got a couple other devices that do this, and this one gave the exact same temperature and humidity readout. So either it works great, or all my other devices don't work well LOL. But I think it's because it works. :-) 6. The little feet that hold up the clock: I can easily fold them back flush with the body of the clock. This should make it very portable for taking with me in a suitcase on a trip without having to worry about the legs snapping off under pressure.

Great product and price. Nice large numbers and can be seem across the room. Plug in the batteries and the clock sets itself and the included Lithium battery means you do not have set up everything again when you change the batteries (all battery operated clocks should be like this). Plan is to buy 2 more.

I really love these clocks. You just put the battery in and voila! the time is set, the date is set, the day is set. Never have to change the clocks for DST. Just move the switch in the back to indicate what time zone you are in. No ticking no tocking. The batteries last a long time in these. And the display can be seen easily from across the room.

Clock is great. It automagically set itself and changed for DST. Only thing I didn't love about it is hard to see on the wall at night but it's not like it's meant to have that feature. 4 years without needing to touch it is a win.

I purchased this item to replace a much older similar desk clock. This clock's screen is about 5x8 inches, perfect on my desk, and easily readable from across the room. I just inserted 3 AA batteries in the clock and it immediately displayed the current correct time, date, day of the week, relative humidity, and room temperature. The auto Daylight savings time option was already on, and the clock was already set for my time zone. Absolutely remarkable. Apparently, there are secondary batteries already installed in the clock, it keeps track of the time even when the main batteries are not installed while the unit is waiting to get to you. The secondary batteries do not power the screen, the 3 AA do that, but they keep track of the time so when you change the batteries there is no fussing with complex reset procedures. A sort of backup system to make your life easier. So much better than my old clock. This exceeded my expectations by a mile!

Just what I wanted; though after buying a less desired table clock

Put the batteries in, changed the settings to Celcius and it set the time perfectly as it was already set for my time zone.
