It does have lots of pockets, but only some of them are actually functional for carrying anything with any weight (like a cell phone or a tablet or a large key ring). The mesh fabric of some of the pockets does not seem like it would hold up to any wear. The placement of the front pockets , which are large, is really awkward for large busted women.The jacket isn't stretchy, and is kind of small in the shoulders - even when the pockets are empty.The material it is made of is too light weight to provide any real warmth in winter but is so rubber/plactic-y and not breathable that I could barely stand to have it on in on a 73 degree day.It is sized very small - I wear a small top , and I got the medium (118 lbs 36 B) and it would have been too small in the shoulders and bust with the pockets filled. Also a bit of a boxy cut.You could (and I will ) get a decent technical climbing or hiking or cycling jacket with almost as many pockets (but that were more functional) that would be better -this does not look much dressier than those because of the boxy styling and the weird material.

Jacket was perfect for mid-late August Alaska cruise. Kept passport, creditcard, cash and ship pass safely and conveniently on my person. Phone pocket very easy to get to, good pocket for hat and gloves. Worked well in mist and the light rain we had, haven't worn it in heavy rain. At least three of my travel companions are ordering jackets for themselves. Negative -- sleeves run pretty long, and -- why doesn't the woman's version come in that beautiful royal blue that is available for men? Also the sleeves were long for me.

I ordered this in a size larger than I usually wear. It has a taped fit and if you want to fill all the pockets that the jacket has and wear thicker tops then you will need to size up. I have found that I need to size up on all SCOTTeVEST Women's products. I normally wear Med. to Large jackets and I bought an XL in this one. It folds nicely into itself to make a pouch and is easily packed. It is a good windbreaker. I did not wear it in the rain so I don't know how water resistant it is. My husband bought a large and it fits me just fine. Maybe a little too big.

I am 5’4”, 140lb. I bought a medium grey jacket and found it a little snug for a jacket that I wanted to have a wallet and possibly a sweatshirt or sweater under.I returned the medium and bought the large and it fits much better and has some room for those items. I wanted a jacket that allows me to ditch the purse, this is a nice solution to that problem for fall, winter, and spring seasons. Great for everyday around town, and I plan to use it for traveling to prevent pick pocket issues.

Definitely not the correct size! This is at least one if not two sizes too small and hangs down to just the upper hip so not very long. It’s very lightweight so layer if you’ll be in colder climates. It has lots of pockets for gadgets etc. and looks well made enough. I bought this to help packing for air travel thinking it would hold all my electronics and accessories which it probably will but nothing more. I wish someone would make an overcoat that’s pockets all over so you don’t even need a carry on bag.

The price was high for a jacket but I liked the quality and features offered with this jacket. I ordered the first jacket in my usual size but it did not fit and I returned it. I then ordered a larger size but returned this jacket since it did not fit me either. The sizing runs small - - very disappointing.

Runs small. I read other reviews and ordered an M1…I normally wear size 14 and M1 is comfortable and not tight. Love the true, no orange, red color. Many compliments. Warmer than expected despite being so light. I love the labeled pockets. Good zippers. Perfect for travel and all the time! I can travel with one less carry item as a result. Genius!UPDATE: Avery fabric labels made everything clearly labeled!

Bought them for my grown daughters. They both work in very public, high traffic job sites. They are in iffy neighborhoods and I thought they could do without purses. They loved them. Got one for myself. One less thing to carry and worry about shopping. Everything fits inside the jacket.
