How much weight will these support? My mom is needing these for her garage step, she is only 125 lbs. Will these support her? Thanks for info!

I'm close to 200 lbs and it supports me just fine. I have it in my garage going into my house 3 steps and it works great

Does the handle lock into place? How does it stay in position without giving in to folding position?

I have a question for jwood1964 - do you have to lift your handle up to change positions and then drop it back down once in the position you want it in, from folded to unfolded? If so, the this is called locked in position.
