I had been searching for an affordable eye gloss, without glitter... something I could wear day (or night) without messy, glittery fall out. The more expensive eyelid glosses I have (Butter London, etc.) are too expensive for a daily 'brighten and lift look' (e.g. going out for lunch or going to the mall) OR the glitter in them leaves me feeling way too 'dressed up' (eg. for work meetings etc.) This worked perfectly. The glow was beautiful and brightening with a soft multi-chromatic pinky-violet reflection. I've worn it over pastel eyeshadow shades as well, and the look is fresh and softly glamorous. It is a little sticky when you first apply it. However, after a few moments, it 'self-distributes' and I no longer feel it on my eyelid. It's worth a try and the Eddie Funkhouser website provides more application tips as well.

Im gonna be honest with you, you might as well just use lip gloss. It's a really pretty color but honestly it has the same consistency as lip gloss and if you have double lids like me it's just gonna feel sticky. A little expensive for what seems to be rebranded lip gloss! Also it's not a whole lot of product.

This should really only be marketed as a lip gloss. It doesn't work well on the eyes at all. Way too sticky. I gave it two stars because it does work nicely as a lip gloss.

I’m not sure what people expected from this product, this is not a liquid eyeshadow, it’s a gloss (eye gloss is VERY similar to lip gloss). It will give you a beautiful wet eye look, what I like about it is that over time it gets less sticky to the touch. It will crease if you have any product underneath, you’ll just have to accept it (just rub it to spread it all back into place).All in all it’s a much more affordable alternative to any other high end glosses.

I rarely write reviews but with the varying opinions, thought I’d throw in my 2 cents! I’m having so much fun with this eye gloss! I’ve wanted to try it for some time, but didn’t want to pay the crazy price of the higher end products, not knowing if I’d like it. I do! Yes, it is sticky. No question. But I expected it to be. It’s a shiny, glossy, mostly liquid product. I’m not sure how it could NOT be sticky! And for me, it’s part of the appeal. With a runnier and/or drier product, it would be a mess and run into/off your eyelids. We don’t want that. I’ve tried it alone and it just gives a subtle shimmery dewy look. Nice. Today I tried it over a matte brown eyeshadow cream. You can see how it works in my photos. One spot is just the shadow, the other has a thin layer of the eye gloss smeared lightly over the top. Love it! I suggested using a synthetic brush for the shadow application and your pointer or pinky finger for the gloss. You don’t need much...just a swabs worth.That brings me to my only complaint...there isn’t a lot of product in the tube. It’s small and it doesn’t seem to be totally full either. But a little will go along way! Certainly enough to try some different looks without spending a ton of money.If you are a bit older (like me! Almost 50!), I feel that it has a bit of an anti-aging effect. It does not empathize wrinkles at all. It gives a fresh, natural look. But do keep it on the lower lid. Out of that area, all bets are off! Enjoy!
